Stephen Dank. Then the players can have three rounds off in three years time.
    SUPER DRAGON!

      Well. Fergo , aint it.

While he will be a terrific addition to our backline (him and mj as centres, brilliant) , he wont be replacing the experience and more importantly "composure" we'll be losing.

Our playmakers tend to be inconsistant in that area.

Moa and Friend are two who could step up.
Signing a LOD type would help.

Meehan is bigger and better than him.

Lets just hope its not a buy made because we have alot of unused cash around. We would be better keeping that for re-signing our current crop of players as many come after off contract in the next two years. I'm led to believe that Jennings, RTS and Cordner are all free for the market next November, and its imperative we keep them.

Maybe we will be keeping cash for the return of one of our current players in a few seasons...... one can only hope

In regards to 2015 the only player I believe the Roosters should bring home is Tom Symonds.
The current team with the addition of Fergusson & Symonds plus Meehan stepping up & possibly Hasting playing 1/2 back off the bench with Pearce doing stints at dummy half & the emergence of Nene McDonald should be given a crack post Mini & SBW, if they have a rotten 2015 well then they may need to buy a marquee player.

FB next year could be a problem because I don't believe RTS is good under the high ball & he is not tall enough, I would try McDonald at FB next year. The Roosters do have a sensational young fullback coming through in Latrell Mitchell but I cant see him playing FG for at least 2 years.

What kind of makes me laugh in all this 'guess who the fullback is going to be' is the fact that we have probably one of the most naturally gifted jumpers in the whole game in Toups.

Did we all back the wrong horse?

I was just thinking back to the first fullback I ever saw in the Red, White and Blue....Marty Gurr. He was as safe as houses.

They're all signed up until 2017.

JWH, Guerra, Toops, SKD, Maloney come off contract next year along with a few others. I hope the first three of those are definitely re-signed and I think SKD and Maloney will be gone with Macdonald and Hastings taking their spots.

As for the morons, RTS will definitely be the FB, and he'll be a great one.

Those calling for Tupou to 1 because of his height and jumping are living in 90's... Ever since Sailor and Tuquiri the best jumpers have been wingers.

                            Slater 1.78m
                            RTS 1.78m
                            Mini 1.81m
                            James Tedesco 1.80
                            Anthony Milford 1.78

Good point. I also believe it is a myth Toops is better than RTS under the high ball. No question Toops is taller but RTS does not drop many at all. How are Toops playmaking skills at the back too?

Taking the high ball at fb is a question of timing, not height. Wing on the other hand, with the ball coming across your front (and often quite shallowly), is helped by height.
