Harry High Pants (HHP) says that the Roosters can go all the way and retain the 2014 Flag. All half-arsed Rooster supporters should leave now as we do not need you. Many of HHP fans would have missed me dearly but I am back and ready to give my all for our grand old club of the Eastern Suburbs!

This weekend’s game against the Warriors will show what we are made of. The Chooks will play the Warriors as if it is a finals game. Our forwards will break the line often and a good field kicking game will set up the win and the ball control will be of a high standard.

As many of you know Harry High Pants gets all the good news. I was abused out of sight in 2013, when I spilt my guts, three weeks before it was announced, that my good mate Sonny had signed with the chooks for his second season.

I am not one of those that bags people out for posting rumours or what they believe to be true, or refuse to name their source. Thats why we have forums. We can make our own mind up about what we believe. What does peeve me tho is when people say they know something, then keep their mouth shut.

Other than BF, I have no idea who our next big signing is, if in fact we can afford one. But what about you? Who do you think?

Does Blake Ferguson count? In my opinion he'll be our single big signing for 2015.

Hard to say who will replace SBW... we've got 2 starting Origin back rowers now (IMO if Gallen's suspended, Guerra might even be a dark horse for the Kangaroos. Surely can't go ignored if we go back to back). So do we need to replace SBW, or has he taught our young guns how to play an enterprising style of footy that we want to keep?

IMO it's going to be a challenge keeping everybody happy/motivated. I have confidence in our coaching/management team but believe we'll struggle if we don't have a new plan for next year. Last year we had SBW, Jennings, Robbo and a lot of promise/excitement. This year we've still got some of that buzz left. I'm actually kinda scared about next year!

Without any insight/experience I sorta feel we're going to have to make some tough decisions. Maybe even release some senior players in order to promote some high-achieving 'junior' players?

Releasing players is definitely not the answer. We have a great team that is young and can form the base of our squad for the next decade. They are professional footballers, and staying at the top should be motivation enough.

Furthermore, we have many players off contract who will want to be playing well, and even people such as RTS getting his shot at fullback and Ferguson returning will be keen to rip in. Whoever the new captain is will also be raring to impress. And playing without Mini and SBW should also ensure they feel like they have a lot to prove.

Take a look at Manly and Melbourne - they have dominated the league for along time and, especially manly, have kept the same playing group together for years. Every year they are competitive.

One of the only things that I believe will halt any motivation or desire in 2015 is if they win the comp again this year. They will be extremely targeted by every side, and trying to win 3 in a row is near impossible one would think.
