By the looks of it our positions 1-5 are filled with the arrival of ferguson.
      Halves are chosen
Forwards look filled with the coming along of Kane and even Meehan.
We could do with another 2nd rower or even a a nifty hooker that can replace friend for a short stint.
I think that Hastings will come off the bench quite a bit next season to help friend out so it's hard to say where this new big name will come from.

We appear settled across the Park with the exception of a big experienced , Dominating Front rower to assist the flat spot that occurs when JWH and The Moa man are off.

Seriously this should be addressed as JWHs RL Life expectancy will be shortened due to the over zealous attention he is attracting from the officials.

X factor should be increased if Flake ever takes the field, RTS seems to have been nullified now the opposition are aware of the Risk he posses.

Halves are solid without being stunning, maybe some new blood in one of these rolls.

Kieran Foran is the only vital signing we need to lock up for 2016, after Maloney's contract expires, we pretty well have all the other positions covered, and should have some good coin left in the kitty to upgrade contracts on players we don't want to lose. It also gives us the luxury of having Hastings, as a backup to play fullback, if the RTS experiment fails, which I think may be the case, and Hastings is a good goal kicker as well.

Who will kick goals from the starting side if Maloney leaves?
It's a worry that we have no back up kicker at the moment. If Maloney goes down.....heuston.....

Has he ever played fullback? IMO he could be a bit of a GI-style FB given his size/athleticism... but with a lot more speed in exchange for a little less bulk.

SBW taught our forwards how to play classy football. IMO Folau could help take Toops, RTS and Fergo to a new level. Only concern would be he hasn't played League for a while... but like SBW he's a natural so would have no problems fitting in.

there won't be any other major additions for the 2015 season other than Fergo

but 2016 maybe a different story all together, not sure if there has ever been a better list of elite playing talent all coming off contract in the one season, we all know how much Uncle Nick loves his marquee players and the financial benefits they provide, I would be shocked if we aren't trying to get one of those 4 here in 2016.

                  -Hayne
                  -DCE
                  -Foran
                  -Folau

our off contract players gives us flexability if we choose to go in another direction

                  -Guerra
                  -JWH
                  -SKD
                  -Maloney
                  -Tupou

                  and then guys like

-Merrin (who would make a really good lock forward for us)

Thirteen ya not the sharpest tool in the shed, by 2016 Hastings will be a regular firstgrader, somewhere in the team, a starting player, and probable goalkicker as well.

Thanks for the insult! What a sign of weak personal character and low self-esteem to insult someone who questions your opinion. Sounds like you're not the sharpest tool either if it ain't that bloody obvious....
I can't just assume Hastings is going to come good based on his name. He has a lot to prove first.
But thanks for your thoughts anyway Nostradamus! You genius!!

Boyd or B Stewart to replace Mini.

T Sims or J Smith to replace SBW.

This is a very good question. Who will be the next big signing? You'd have to think we would have something in our sights.

Other than Benji at halfback and Ricky Stuart as coach... ... pre-emptive strike against Rooster_6...

It is common knowledge we would've liked to have signed Israel Folau, but you'd think that is unlikely and he will stay with Rugby Union - OR if he did return to League, the new "special NRL other code player allowance" would surely include a stipulation he will have to go to somewhere like the Gold Coast or Canberra.

So, the big question remains... Who are we after? Who is off contract over say 2015-16?
