His former coach, Smellamy, has just released his autobiography called "Home Truths'..It must be a work of fiction then.. I'm getting you a copy for Christmas because I know how much you want to read it...

        Agreed....

Yes, unfortunately we are one of the clubs the Refs heavily scrutinize. But anyone suggesting Souths are favoured and receive the MOST penalties out of any other team is CLEARLY bullshitting.

        --

Fact is, the Warriors have received the LEAST amount of penalties with 112 penalties.

Souths have actually received the SECOND LEAST penalties so far in 2013... receiving 117 penalties.

We have received 119 penalties. That's right we have actually received more penalties than Souths.

(And in terms of the cumulative +/- penalties received for/against, Souths rank in the bottom 4 of the ladder)

Call me a Souths sympathiser all you want, i prefer to deal with logic and facts. Making claims that the refs favour Souths and find ways to award them penalties is total and utter bullshit.

And which side is the most penalized in the comp according to your table?

            Penalties Table:
So we've received 2 more penalties than Souths? Wow, a stunning figure. Why not highlight they have conceded 39 less than us? That doesn't suit your agenda.

It's not just the penalty differential (ours is far and away the worst, but for your own grandiose reasons you ignore that), it's all the other decisions and when and where the penalties are given.

You can believe whatever you want, but if you don't see that Souths were awarded that match against Manly the other night then you have zero insight yourself. And there have been many other games (including ours in Rd 1 where we were penalised out of the match) they have been gifted.

Throw the Burgess 2 weeks suspension as he "didn't use much force on the testicles"....

            Just the facts. LOL.

I call you as the bullshit artist.

By the way, that 39 extra penalties translates to about an extra 2 kilometres in (mostly unearned) field position we have lost compared to Souths.

Hope the fall down from your high horse isn't too painful...

What I want to know is why didn't Inglis get penalised for a blatant elbow to the head of Matai before he tried grounding the ball? If that was JWH would of been sent off for sure

Receiving less penalties is somewhat negating when you concede a lot less penalties

Great post player 1, hit the nail on the head with everything!!

The video refs have been a disgrace this year, that try manly were denied against $ouff$ was a total joke! manly were also robbed by the video ref in their first encounter against $ouff$ earlier this year with two disgraceful calls against them!

The last time the cowboys played $ouff$ a few weeks ago, Linnett went in for a try which was a try, all the commentators also thought it was a try. The ref went upstairs saying that he thought it was a try. All the replays showed that there was nothing to suggest that it wasn't a try, and the system states that in this case you must give it a try. And what ends up happening?? Of course the video ref in his great wisdom gave it a no try, FMD!!

The cowboys were also robbed against $ouff$ the first time they played them this year by the video ref! And what gets me which is the icing on the cake is the new system they brought in this year where the ref 'must' say whether he thinks it is a try or no try before sending it upstairs to the video ref. Guaranteed in the big games the ref will always say he thinks it is a no try on any possible try against $ouff$ and when it is a possible try for $ouff$ they will say that they think it is a try every time!

Oh yeah, the refs/video refs don't favor $ouff$, of course not!

Holy f**k, if two of shayne hayne, jared maxwell and gavin badger in particular (three HUGE $ouff$ supporters!!) ref us against $ouff$ in the finals we are F**KED!!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                    Here's looking at you, kid.

Winning or losing penalty counts is irrelevent. Getting the calls really determine the outcome of the game. Disallowed trys bad forward pass calls etc, are the things that can really kill you.

The other stuff is just annoying.

We might not win the penalty count but our boy's have the right attitude when they cop one against them, they just refocus and get on with it, no wonder we have the best defence in the comp, just turn on some attitude and hurt and frustrate them more.
