  • The Souff Sydney Piggy Backs' Freight Train just started rollin'...

...and make no mistake about it, the train ain't stopping until Premiership glory if the NRL and the refs have anything to do with it.

Did you see the penalty count tonight? And the irrelevant square ups at the end?

But more than that, did you see where Souffs got their penalties? It was piggy back after piggy back after piggy back. All out of their own half.

And how about the Inglis dive in the second half? If that's JWH it's play on. But Inglis? On report and a penalty.

If we are to defeat Souffs AND the refereeing freight train that is about to hit us then it will surely be the greatest Premiership achievement in our history.

Feel free to call me a conspiracy theorist, but I know what I saw tonight.

Inglis was back. Sutton was back. And the refs LOVED it. They hopped aboard the Souff Sydney Piggy Backs freight train.

And it'll take something special to stop it. But I believe we can!

    Great presser tonight by Tooves.

I hate Manly but I can't help but feel that they, like us, are in the path of the Souffs refereeing train from here on in.

God help us .. correction ... not even God can help us with the penalty count in Rnd 26.

I'd love to see a break down of piggy back penalties.

We've spent the last 7 weeks molesting teams by rolling them for 60+ metres every set and how many piggy back penalties can you recall for offside or ruck infringements?

You could count them on one hand IMO. About the same number in 7 weeks that Souffs received tonight alone.

But **** em all ... we'll still reign supreme as we have all season anyway.

Only caught the last 10 mins of the game & when Jamie Lyon 'knew' that he'd been held up & hadn't scored, he raced back to play the ball...
The ref allowed souffs to reset their line & catch a breather by going for a video review...souffs got the ball back next play...
I feel that even if Jamie was yelling & screaming that he hadn't scored, which his actions showed, the ref would've made the same decision...
Hope the refs don't decide this year's winner...

Yep, disgraceful refereeing tonight. I believe Perenara called Matai's try a no-try because he knew it wouldn't be overturned.

In 2004 the Dogs got a free run. In 2010 the Dragons. Now in 2013 the Rabbits.

Here's an idea, stop thinking there is a conspiracy against the Roosters.

TR coaches our players to simply move on. Penalty. Keep tackling. Head high. Get up. About time our fans did the same.

ok tooves is a nutter we all know that, but he hit the nail on the head, the penalties souffs way continually were very suspect? since manly are one of the nrl favoured teams what hope have we got?there will come a time soon when the old gus threat of taking his team from the field might well eventuate, a great look on live tv?i thought braith might have been close to doing that a few times in seasons past?

If you were in a card game that you discovered was rigged Thomas would you continue playing or would you collect your chips and quickly leave the table?

There was a game in late 2010 when we went on a good run where we beat the Bulldogs something like 36-32 at the SFS where I'm positive Braith was VERY close to walking the team off.

It's going to take a perfect performance and plenty of luck to beat a 15-man Soufffffs team in the semis. The ideal scenario is we finish one and two and either Melbourne or Manly knocks them out in the prelim.

At least if we got to play Manly you would know the players would decide it because they seem to cop this crap off the officials as badly as we do (although admittedly they haven't been reamed by them for nigh on 10 years now).

Since I gave up giving a shit about the rest of the NRL, I've never felt better.

The refs are actually starting to really scare me. They should probs make it official that they play for Souths as everyone (bar Souths fans who think they legitimately win) can see what's happening. Round 26 could be a blood bath for the Roosters going on how Manly fared - given our track record is even worse than theirs!! But what can honestly be done???

There were a few dubious penalties but that doesn't constitute favouritism, lets be real here, Souths have lost their last three from 5 penalty counts against opposition and are ranked mid stream in NRL on penalty differentials. The truth be told, they were brutal last night and showed grit, this is what semis are made from, we need the same type of game before the semis and yes Souths are starting to worry me, I said it.

It was an absolute farce last night I'm not a fan of Tooveys but he had every right last night to have a crack at those homos in pink when is the NRL going to rub that grub Lima out of the game for his grubby tackling style and on the Steve Matai no try Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder could see that ball was grounded.I smell another Dragons 2010 style assistance from the refs just give the vermin the title now no one has any chance with them having an extra man on the field every week.
