Well said JFC. I cannot stand how those 3 and the Storm's Slater and Smith...play the refs and get away with murder. But I am happy that Trent has said players he coaches will not resort to those grubby tactics e.g. diving for penalties etc.

Last night Manly were raped deluxe. However, our team is superior to Manly and like Backwards, Rooboy and RWB have said I am not going to let the refs upset me....our boys will do us proud no matter what adversity is thrown at us.

I am actually more scared of injuries to our players than the refs these days.

Makes me projectile vomit worse than Mr creosote.

I need counselling or perhaps minor surgery.
I'm so grateful my doctor is a Roosters fan. I keep telling her to sedate me for the finals, especially when we play Melbourne or Souths.

You are more resilient than I. Watching the Canberra game, to me, felt like having all my teeth pulled out with pliers without an anaesthetic - all the way through until we somehow escaped with victory.

I think the good news player 1 is....I have a sneaky feeling we may just overcome this crap anyway...and that's gonna feel damn good.

Mate!! I have felt like having my bowels torn out with no anesthetic watching some of the refs performances especially in the past 3-4 years.....as JFC has alluded to, if we overcome all the crap thrown our direction its going to feel pretty damn good.

As a club Souffs have a long history of corruption and scandal add Maximus Crowe into the mix with the Crown Casino deal and James Packer who is blinded by Hollywood stardom is likely extended to the NRL. Souffs corrupted the league years ago with geo boundaries and refs so it be no surprise to me that the fix is in where the NRL gain is to gain from the Maximus Crowe upcoming movie "out of the shadows " royalties after they win a fixed GF

The refereeing is getting worse every year, it's very rare for the refs to make a call, they're always going upstairs even for easy decisions, they are clueless. I mostly blame the video consultations. Refs now have forgotten how to ref. It's the same with cricket umpires when they have to judge a simple run out they always go upstairs for a decision. It's time to get rid of video decisions, it's time the refs learned to referee again.

BTW I don't think the refs favour any one team but I believe they penalise some clubs more than others, unfortunately we are one of the clubs they scrutinise.

Same as whats said above. Refs are taking preconceived ideas into matches. We are scrutinised and policed more heavily than other teams because of what appears on referee's tip sheets.

Interesting to hear Roy masters on tv saying that, referees love a fairytale and would love to see the rabbits win the grand final, and that they are definitely getting the rub of the green this yr by winning every 50/50 call, and then some.

The referees should not be loving anything. Their job is to act in official capacity and be clinical and professional about it. Sometimes I wish they'd bring in overseas refs for the finals like they used to occasionally for Origin if I remember correctly. But no-one understood the Frenchman they sent once..

I think it is a great idea.
Independently train referees for such occasions (finals, state of origins, world cups) in countries such as England, Wales, France, even the US.

Better still, we could train people who have recently arrived at Manus Island or Nauru. I'd have more faith in referees if they did.
