Quads Cooper led the qld reds to super 15 glory in 2011 (admittedly with a champion half in Will Genia), and in the five games he played this year the reds won. He did his knee in last years world cup and anyone who has followed injuries closely knows what a long road back from them it is. I don't care what anyone says, he is a naturally talented footballer. Is he right for us, I don't think so. But how arm chair critics get on here and bag him is f*cking embarrassing.

And if he's the no1 fly half, why don't they pick him more often?

Couple that with what he'd cost, his poor defense, and the fact that he's associated with Nasser means that for me, he's a big no

Until he is able to make 25 tackles a game predominantly on big second rowers and centres then he is not even ready for first grade let alone being paid as much as he would command. Richie McCaw and his mates made him look like a schoolgirl when it came to tackling. How is he going to go against Pritchard, Burgess etc in League. He will be a laughing stock.

Whenever the Todd Carney saga comes up on here people whinge about the club only going for the 'good guys' now (you can add Nate Myles to that conversation too). Now we potentially have the chance to go after Quade Cooper and you don't want him because of his supposed questionable character?
You can never have too much talent there will be a spot for him if he comes.
