The crowd cheered loudly at the change of kicker. Even another supporter said to me that we could have him at the Roosters. Coopers was Argentina's best player.
Whilst I supported the news from SBW a couple of weeks ago to have QC in the NRL, or here, now I'm not so sure. I think QC lacks confidence and unless you have a very inspiring coach, like Bellamy or Hassler, all were going to have is trouble and a waste of cap.
Oh I understand without Bellamy or Hasler coaching him, Cooper is useless and some supporter endorsed your comments. When we received the wooden spoon, Politis stated he will do everything in his power to get the Roosters back on top again naming SBW, Quade and Berrick Barnes among'st others as potential targets. I take my hat off to Nick and hope he is successful in his quest for the signature of Cooper.

You can take your hat all you want and what ever else fancies you but at the end of the day, the guy is 'currently' playing crap and there is no denying it. I was there at the ground and heard the dissatisfaction of the crowd at Coopers continuous stuff ups. And if people endorse my comments regarding this then they are a very smart bunch of fans. You obviously don't fit that criteria.

Media reporting he's almost a sure thing to leave Union this year.

yes he's making a lot of noise to that. If the guy is coming here for a big payout then why would Politis take him? Unless he wants to play for 'training' rates and sit it out until he is ready, then by all means bring him though I can see the headlines already.

I wasn't aware that Nasser is also he's manager which I now see the SBW interest in all of this. As the article says, this could be a package deal. This may be costly and may torpedo the signing of SBW if we don't take Cooper.

I've said this before, and here I go again.
During the World Cup the All Blacks no 4 choice was better than Cooper and this year has been no better.
So to Quade Cooper at the Roosters I say

            NO
            Pauline Robinson from the "Wall".

If Pearce has agreed to join St.Merge from 2014 (as some have stated), then I wouldn't be totally against QC, as i think it will take him a season to acclimatise to RL. But as it stands now, just cant see where you would play him now that we have Maloney at 5/8, Jnr 1/2 and RTS ready to slot into fullback whether 2013 (or when Mini departs). Can't see QC being a better option than any of those three 'spine' players. Puhlease, Pearce to hooker ....won't happen !

I wouldn't be bending over backward to accomodate him just because SBW wants to play with his brother ...what happens in 2 years time when SBW moves on, will his puppy follow him out the door ?

I think Quade would be a good addition to the cheer squad. With what you hear about him and the way he goes on on Twitter, he'd fit in perfectly with a bunch of teenage girls.

Why would we want Cooper ???
Where would we put him as we have Mini and RTS as fullback, Pearce and Maloney as halves, Moga, SKD, BJ as centres, plenty of wingers (Toupou, Oldfield, Tagive).

Why wound we risk buying an untried Cooper (in league) for a league player with plenty of potential already on our books.

We are not interested in Cooper and common sense says we can't be interested. Simple as that !!!

The only way I can see it working is if he's a bench player. He does the role that Nat Wood did (infinitely better though) coming on after 20 minutes of each half.

For some reason, I'd prefer Cooper to Pearce.

Cooper's a risk, but I'm tired of Mitch.

With Mitch, it's a matter of waiting for him to produce a good game then praying that form can continue. It never does.

He's the John Sutton of halfbacks.

SO how much would he be asking for? Seeing as his mate Money Bill is reported getting $800K, you'd imagine he'd want at least half that. So we're paying $1.2Mill minimum for 2 rugby union players who MIGHT turn out to be some good?

If this club sees it this as good business, they've seriously lost the plot. Imagine who we could get for $1.2M......Barba and Graham? Luke and Burgess? Smith and Widdop? Hayne and Paulo? Marshall and Lawrence?

Why we'd spend a cent on either Money Bill or consider Cooper is beyond me.
