teddy's just come out in player's media saying what a great job hugo is doing and how him and sammy are forming a great combination. he said the same thing in the presser on saturday. clearly he knows what he's saying and i wouldn't be surprised if dce doesn't come.

DCE did himself no favours by blindsiding his club on national tv. Manly fans that did have respect for him, lost it in that one moment.

If he has signed with us, than I really hope for himself more than anyone else, he can play somewhere near the form he used to show, or at least show leadership and game management, which he has lacked of late.

Strange has 11 tries & 12 try assists in 21 games, averaging out at 1.09 try contributions per game. Walker has 0 tries & 13 try assists in 5 games, averaging out at 2.6 try contributions per game. To be fair to Sam he's coming back from an ACL if anything's going to take the most amount of time to return it would be the confidence in his running game and footwork.

And that's not a shot at Strange I think he's a good young half but I just don't have him in that elite level, if they're serious about picking a young half to take on tour it has to be one of Katoa or Walker for mine, both have a higher ceiling than Strange.

I was just asking how many tries has Sammy scored in the last 5 games & how many tries Strange has scored in the last 5 games but thank you for all the other info you have given me.
Strange has the wood on Sammy & Katoa because his team will go deep in to the finals & also he is playing outstanding football.
If Strange stays fit & the Raiders make the GF or win the comp he will be picked for Australia 1 million percent.
He's not going to be picked before Munster but he will be on the tour.

I was not referring to awards by the NRL New Limited Media - I give him my award for rookie of the year. I’ve given the NRL media a red card similar to what I chose to do with boycotting Ch9 after it and Gyngell crucified Pearce.

FGT No 1...a players gets injured, a player from FGT No 2, say Hugo or Sandon slots right it, and there's no drop in standard.

Start the game with DCE, have him give all for 25 mins, then launch Hugo from the rotation squad.

Tell DCE that if we sign him he'll be expected to run, run, run, score tries...and not just play dummy half and kick on the 5th.

or

tell him we've changed our mind. Tell him we'll still honour our promise (if we've made one), he'll get the money we promised, but as a coach not a player.

We must not lose Hugo.
Surely if we pay him well he'll stay.

According to Rothfield and NRL 360, the contract is in place however it hasn’t been registered by the NRL.

If true we have to honour the deal or negotiate our way out.

If it’s not true then Rothfield looks like a fool.

Walker was superb, Hugo was solid as always, good defence throughout and serviceable kicks, couple of errors but not ready to say he's better than DCE just yet.
