  • Back to that South’s 2022 game - we also had to win the week before. OUR brand new stadium - first hit out - couldn’t afford to loose and unfortunately we got busted in that win. Showed the following week unfortunately.

    • I don't think we have any easy games.
Dogs and Storm as well as a rejuvenated Eels and Souffs with plenty players back.
Granted we should win the latter two.

Dolphins have a depleted side but play a depleted Broncos, Manly where all the players apparently hate DCE, Titans and Raiders both at home. Raiders likely to rest players in that last round. First time I'll be rooting for Reece.

Realistically we need to win one more than them as I doubt we make up the 50 odd points difference.

We are capable of winning all four games. Hopefully no injuries and even luck with 50/50s.

      Let's go Easts.

we lost manu before the game, teddy inside 20 mins, angus at the half hour mark and toops at half time. it wasn't just about our being dumb
Exactly. Then there was the little problem of their grubby winger and Burgarse number 2 trying to decapitate rooster player’s heads with wild swinging arms.

Totally agree we don’t have any easy games left - Souths have troops coming back and will lift massively for us. Parra are a different side with Moses back and the other two need no justification. It’s going to be a very interesting month of footy. I can see it now we will have to beat the vermin to get into the 8.

          • I think the Wasrriors are a chance of dropping out. Let's hope the Steelers late season revival continues.

I was thinking that but they probably have the easiest run home of any team - surely they get two wins out of Dragons Titans Eels and Eagles

I wouldn’t be so sure. They look absolutely pissweak. Dragons have been aiming up and playing well, Titans the same on their day. I see their wins coming from the last 2 opponents, although DCE last game they might turn up and play well for him idk.

                • What's bigger than "making a statement"? That's what we'll be doing if we beat the Bulldogs and imo I think we can!

Marky Mark's bomb defusal will be put to the test.

Flanno can coach, I finally can see that.

Dragons have hit one's straps and are playing a solid style of footy. Add a classy 6 or 7 and they'll be top 4 next season imo. They're now a different team to the one we lapped on Anzac Day.

I put that down to luck

Never liked the bloke so there was an element of bias. I'm over it now! I can see clearly now the rain has gone.

I think King-Tongia is really solid given his age. Adding in a classy half would result in Flanno having to cut his son out of the team. Even his goal kicking has been poor as of late, missed a heap of them on the weekend.

In fairness to the Dargons though, there really hasn’t been any quality halves up for sale as of late (aside from DCE, but even then that’s a stretch nowadays). Then there is the task of trying to convince players to join them, which is probably the hardest part of the equation.
                              EASTS TO WIN!
