If the NRL are serious they'll give the Chooks a leg up in Melbourne to turn the game against Souffs into a blockbuster.

They'll then screw us in that game so the Dolphins get the fairytale finals berth.

We are 9 points difference behind the dolphins atm. A close loss to Melbourne by say 6 and the dolphins beat the Titans by say 10, means we will need to beat souths by 25+ depending on dophins v raiders differential. It's going to be tight to make the semis if we dont win tonight and the dolphins beat the Titans.

if we lose next week and the dolphins win both games it's slightly probable we don't make the semis. 21 points isn't much buffer v three adverse results. but sure, it's possible that the buffer is enough. i think the bookies have us at such short odds because they haven't factored in the raiders resting players next week. go the titans ...

that said, we're going to do the bunnies. we're going to skin them, put a skewer through them and roast them over a fire. then we're going to beat whoever we play week 1 of the finals. then we're going to beat the loser of qf1, probably the team that finishes 4th. then we'll probably face the storm in melbourne and it will be one hell of a match

The game against Souffs is a worry. They have nothing to lose and will play with a lot of aggression.
