Sandon is the better fit stylistically but Savala has played the better and more consistent footy during their time as a pairing.

If Sandon can straighten up and play more direct I think he's shown he can do a job as a supporting 5/8. It's when he plays sideways trying to pick up option runners and whatever that stupid dummy out to one hand is as he drifts across the field that he gets himself into trouble. If he plays more up and down and just runs the ball more over the next two weeks I think it's an interesting decision to be made. If he continues the way he is going it's going to be as equally interesting to see how a Savala and Walker pairing would work..

Radley & Collins need to be dropped to reserve grade as they can’t move laterally and let in tries. Ditto for E Butcher as he drops the ball. Spencer can’t play the ball properly, and calls our wonderful First Nation people “monkeys”, as well as swearing at the person who I thought was a real chance of becoming the next Pope , Jonathon Thurston. It’s sacrilidge and Spencer should be sacked immediately. Angus should go too, as he only displays form when his contract is up for renewal. Watson looks like he’s playing with the knowledge that Robson is going to pinch his number 9 jersey from him - needs a stint in ressies to calm his nerves. Same for Steep, who never looks like getting off the bench. Wong looks overweight and slow, we need faster, more mobile forwards like the Bulldogs.
In the halves, Sandon needs to shake hands with the reserves coach, since he has cost us every game we have lost this season. I find Savala hasn’t had enough experience in first grade, so he should drop down too.
In the backs, Marky Mark should be sent to the tropics for 3 months so he can learn to catch the ball on wet conditions. Billy Smith hasn’t broken the defensive line, so he needs to hone his skills in Reserves, as does Toia who can’t ground the ball properly. Toops is too quiet on the wing so sack him.
That leaves our captain Teddy, who despite good form for 10 rounds, had a quiet game against the dogs. It’s the sign of things to come, so why not replace him with Ponga, immediately?

Wow, now I’ve sorted our problems out, it will be refreshing to see some new faces in the team for the Sharks game.

Sandon wouldn’t be a bad FB or 14… but in the halves where he has to playmake and make decisions under pressure? He doesn’t have it.

He can certainly be a good asset when fatigue starts to set in similar to how the dogs turned momentum around last night with their 14 off the bench, they really targeted in behind our ruck.

In all honestly I would have loved to of posted a reply that explained my thoughts more in depth but I know plenty say that I come off too pretentious so believe it or not I am conscious of how I post and I do try to tone down my posts as much as as I can lol.
