Sandon wouldn’t be a bad FB or 14… but in the halves where he has to playmake and make decisions under pressure? He doesn’t have it.

He can certainly be a good asset when fatigue starts to set in similar to how the dogs turned momentum around last night with their 14 off the bench, they really targeted in behind our ruck.

I would go with a Walker & Savala combo right now.

Tend to agree. I think he’ll be a really strong 14 for the remainder of the season but I don’t see how he could be in that role next year given we’ll have Robson and you’d imagine Connor goes back to 14.

Didn't Collins crash over very soon after? They wouldn't have been in that position to attack the line, after a few gifts from Klein, if Toia had grounded the ball and we had to then run the ball back out from the kick off - at which point Collins or Lenui would probably have fumbled it anyway.

There was no net loss for the Roosters in that period of play. They still scored a converted try.

You're right, it didn't.

But those intervening sets were all played at Canterbury's end of the field. There's no way Easts would have scored a try inside those 6 minutes if Toia hadn't dropped the ball and they then worked their way back downfield after the subsequent kick off.

Last night was his 40th game so you're suggesting a fair go would be another season and a half meaning it would've taken from 2023 through to 2027 for us to figure out if he's good enough or not?

My apologies, by nature I'm a very analytical thinker. In all honestly I would have loved to of posted a reply that explained my thoughts more in depth but I know plenty say that I come off too pretentious so believe it or not I am conscious of how I post and I do try to tone down my posts as much as as I can lol.
