      • JWH will be the 1st player sin binned for not playing the ball correctly.

        • How the hell jwh got called back for a shepherd on on Edwards at the start of the year which we lost a try and Melbourne get away with that
I back the decision tonight but a lot has changed since the start of the year when we lost a couple of games with shithouse calls

at least the bunker is not going black and white now

Reserve the results in those controversial losses to the riff and drizzle and we would be a chance for the minor premiership.

            • I hate to say it but the key difference between us and the riff and drizzle is that these 2 teams scrape for everything and give the opposition nothing.

              • Im totally convinced after watching the game tonight that the NRL has zero idea about how to handle tackles around the head/shoulders to the head. When the Storm winger copped a swinging arm flush across the face and left dazed, everyone was thinking send off or sin bin. Neither-just a penalty on report while the Storm winger gets rubbed out of the game. How? They couldnt wait to get Nelson in the bin for a possible shoulder to the back of the Penrith players head that caused no damage (besdies to Munster).

Its like they just make it up as they go

According to NRL.com only 3 players were put on report last night:

                  Lindsay Smith 76th minute
                  James Fisher Harris 71st minute
                  Nelson Asofa Solomona 54th minute

I'm certain I saw about 5 players put on report, but there was only 1 sin bin.

Had JWH or Radley transgressed same way, they'd be off the field pronto.

                  • no way nelson should have been binned. As Gus says "What's he supposed to do, disappear". Player turns his back and ducks into him.
As for the late penalty, phark me, how many times will we see that not penalised this weekend.

                      • Take note- Watson gets hit hard flush in the face by a shoulder from a third defender in and its not a send off.....well not this week.

That player should have been marched.

Very soft decision to only sin bin him

                            • and there were no mitigating factors - connor was relatively stationary, held by two others and the bloke's come in hard. whether or not it's a send off is up for grabs but it was at least as bad as, say, dom young's hit v bulldogs
