  • Bunker - Fraud watch

Daniel Saifiti has been charged for high contact on Lindsay Collins but we lost the challenge because Chris Butler said it was only and I quote "slight contact" whilst Lindsay Collins was on the field spitting blood.

We need to start a fraud watch on the bunker I'm struggling to keep up. Bad calls happen on the run but when you've got access to 15 HD cameras with ultra slow-mo play back you've got to do better.

ROUND 4 - Chris Butler incorrectly penalises JWH for obstruction, try removed from Roosters.

ROUND 5 - Todd Smith incorrectly sends Victor Radley to the sin bin for a phantom hip drop.

ROUND 6 - Chris Butler Incorrectly deems force in high tackle that left Lindsay Collins bleeding from the mouth as only "slight contact"

    What else am I missing?

What about the Knights going up 8 to 0 because we didn't have a ball. It was a Knights home game. I was dumbfounded.

I’m sure this will get plenty more things added to it as the season goes on

Rename the header title by including the HIA match authority.
I suggest adding Walker being refused to play on after going off with a supposed concussion in the Riff game.

What about Gagai’s quick tap and knock on after running 10m + being called back and given a kick for touch due to no quick taps for foul play? I thought it was for holding down or inside 10 in the 40m. Fox didn’t show his signal.

This could become a very long list. Can we make it a sticky?

Maybe Rooster_6 could also highlight the diabolical decisions that Annesley is forced to admit were wrong.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Unfortunately your list will grow exponentially throughout the rest of the season.

It’s just good to know that if a player knocks on, you are allowed to smash him in the head afterwards with no consequences. Hopefully next time we play Souths, Cody or Latrell knock on and then Victor knocks out their teeth with a high shot.

I think you've missed a vital protocol in this decision ... it depends which jersey you're wearing.

Who was in the Bunker when that box head Turbo took Teddy out in the air and he spilt the bomb @ Crookvale for manly first try, pretty much won them the game, as bad as we played.

Honestly this is nothing new for the Roosters, it’s been obvious for over a decade, they don’t even try to hide it anymore… Once upon a time we used to thrive on it as we could defend it but this side is a pale comparison to the one back then.

The officials once again had a shocker last night! We won so it doesn't hurt too bad. Sutton should be sanctioned for taking things into his own hands following continues Bunker fark ups awarding strange penalties to square the ledger.

"Slight contact" FMD that is so wrong on more than one level. Firstly, it wasn't slight and secondly the amount of force is irrelevant. Farking amateur hour and game manipulation at it's finest. No one went to bed early last night so channel 9 and the sponsors got their money's worth.

was a shocker from the bunker and not the first.

that said, we could have done better. lindsay called for the review cos he knew he'd been hit in the melon. he should have made it clear that he'd been hit in the melon by saying 'i've been hit in the ****en melon' and by bringing his arm up to his head re-creating what happened. hard for the bunker to miss it then. if we're going to call for reviews that highlight foul play even though we know there's no knock on (which i don't have a problem with) then we have to be all in.
and while we're at it, makes sense to have a review of whether or not the players stay down when they know they've been fouled. yes, there are reasons to play the game in the right spirit but not when nobody else does and it pisses us of when we lose out of it. plus, refs factor into their decisions whether or not a player has appealed for a foul. they assume that players will appeal for fouls and when they don't they can assume that no foul has been committed
