The ref/bunker intervention in the match between Manly and the Warriors just now simply highlights the double standards and blatant corruption we have to deal with each week.

Disgraceful and hypocritical application of the rules by the refs in today's game compared to the other night.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

How the hell did that happen? If the ball kids deliberately hid the footballs Knights should be docked two competition points.

OP going to be busy updating this thread. I can forgive NAS barely touching Katoa even though the rule supposed to be black and white. But Reimis Smith pushing Manu's right arm which caused him to miss the catch was one of the worst decisions in an already bad year for the bunker ref.

I will be updating this evening after work, I would also like to announce that we will be inducting our first two reps into the Bunk Fraud watch Co.

I would like to welcome James Tedesco and Trent Robinson who did a brilliant job not only explaining the incompetence of the calls last night but throwing it back to all the previous bad calls along with sorry phone calls from Graham Apology.

It was a nice touch from Robbo mentioning he has already been in trouble from NRL without elaborating. It was a complete your own sentence moment:

"I already got in trouble"... for pointing out the incompetence of the refs, and the farking muppets are still costing us games.

He was so close he could've read Sloanes shoe size.

On Sloane he copped 2 charges in the same game - why is the second one a 1st offence and not a 2nd offence which is a $1800 to $2500 fine

Tyrell Sloan (Dragons) Grade 1 Dangerous Contact 1st Offence TBC $1000-$1500 fine

I'm still in disbelief about Sloan only getting fined. You get nothing for 2 acts of grubbiness yet 8 weeks for name calling.

Not bunker related, more the inconsistency with the MRC. Taane Milne is only getting 2 weeks for his brain snap cannon ball tackle on Munster that could've broken his leg. Earlier this season the NRL had said that they wanted to come down hard on these types of tackles that can cause serious long term leg injuries. IMO 2 weeks seems like a slap on the wrist. The NRL had a chance to make an example.

They can't get anything right including counting to two.

Ref to us: 'nup I have no discretion here, it's just a timer!!! It's YOUR responsibility to find a ball!!! There's a bin over here and another over there...'

Sigh. Discretion is what peeves me TBH. Not what's called but what's not called.

We won so I don't really give a fark but the Dragons were super grubby and coulda had multiple sin-bins if the refs wanted to play hard on them IMO. Instead no call... play-on. Fine but not at the same time.

Walker screamed at the touchy was was seemingly to blind to what had just happened.
