Better/ Smarter Coaching that tells me or just one of those bad years?
Api Korosai is a wonderful player and he’s definitely been a loss for them but they are fine without Kikau they have young Hosking who is playing well and Sorensen is fairly good no nonsense first grader in addition to having Liam Martin. They still have the best prop forward rotation in the game and JFH for them is like JWH for us in his prime when the big dog plays they are hard to stop. Their backline is fantastic too the only thing that will stop Penrith are injuries and fatigue from 3 consecutive grand finals.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that anyone could do a better job presently… but I’m certain that no one could do worse

Robbo used to be cutting edge… but he’s gone soft in the head these last couple of years

If we go down to the Dogs I’ll be happy to provide you with a list of some of his most recent quotes that make that abundantly clear
Bang on all you want but the bottom line is Coach Robinson will be Coaching for as long as he still wants to coach - Nick Politis has made that abundantly clear

Build a bridge and get over it

I wouldn’t be so sure of that

There’s only so much soft boiled nonsense Nick can take if performance doesn’t pick up on the field

You know Nick P personally do you? When you are at lunch with him next, ask him about stock options in his company and give me a tip off.

You are a corporate shill for a corporation that doesn't employ you or know of your existence... lol.

Yes they are a decent side and a good chance of winning again cause there isn’t much competition.

The Broncos could beat them. They have a decent halves pairing. great pack, plenty of strike out wide and the wonder kid at fullback who is freakishly good.

Souffs won't win it. They can score points quickly but are mentally weak and can't sustain their intensity for 80 minutes.

I'm not sold on the Storm unless Paps is playing fullback

We have losses against the Cowboys, Dragons and Dolphins who all should have been easyish wins for us, we have been dominated against most stronger teams this year as well. I assure you Cronulla, Melbourne, Penrith and Souths are not afraid of coming up against the Roosters anymore but the roster we have should absolutely strike fear into all teams.

They have proven many people wrong so in hindsight they are not in the same category as the Dragons & Cowboys.

Certainly zero competition coming from this part of town

And to think we were favourites coming into this year lol

There’s only one side with a better list

And they’re coached by a circus clown

So Penrith 3 in a row

You need a halfback that can direct traffic, kick further than 30 meters, doesn’t miss 9 tackles in a game etc especially when paired alongside Keary who is also small, doesn’t have a long kicking game and isn’t the best game manager.

The other big issue is Smith at dummy half for 80 minutes

We were never going to win it this year imo.

The halfback is fine… and a natural talent… what is he? 20 years old? I believe he made an Origin squad last year

Don’t remember anyone talking about how small Langer and Walters were… or how they couldn’t kick the ball long

The problem is not us winning the comp or not… the problem is us not even being in the race

This opens up the argument as to who it’s really been all along that got us up Robbo or Fitzy whose team currently occupies 2nd on the ladder. Are we witnessing the real Robbo without his magic men like Fitzy? He can’t seem to even get selection right so perhaps he has just been the face but not the substance behind our successes? He sure has been making some very irrational decisions that have baffled fans & experts alike. I’m inclined to believe Fitzy had more to do with our successes than Robbo going by Robbo’s irrationality and confusing decisions.

That’s a very fair question to ask

Fitzy obviously a very sensible no nonsense coach these days

Robbo meanwhile living off his reputation… and talking/doing all manner of weird **** as his highly fancied side plummets

Apart from a late run… last year was no different

If we do nothing else of note in 2023...we MUST win in Gosford.
