A cold but beautiful sunny winters day in Sydney

Absolute Arctic conditions in Sydney today and the rain has just started, very miserable. Good to see you are getting some well needed rain in the Adelaide Hills Vasco.

Yeah quite a few gum trees have lost a few branches and many trees have fallen completely. Lots of native animals suffering due to lack of food.

Similar Artic conditions at the Gong HH....we didnt get a lot of rain and the sky is appearing again. The windchill down here this morning at 9am was minus 0.4.

Yes not a lot of rain here either but the wind is whipping it up a bit, skies weren't to bad earlier but looked out the kitchen window where i can see south towards Brighton Le Sands and the colour of the clouds were so much darker down that way so it was inevitable we were going to get some rain. I couldn't even be bothered getting out of bed till 10 am today, was just to warm and cosy there.

Two days of rain in the Adelaide Hills. Haven't had consecutive days of rain since October. Much needed. And it was 2 degrees this morning.

Didn't get above 11 c at St Peters today and with the wind chill factor the temp was 8 c.Driving rain, cloudy, blue sky, sprinkles of rain then driving rain again, Had to really rug up when heading out to physio this afternoon. First time have had the heater on today.

He was. But just popped the 3 hrs back to Bendalong to give us a Chookpen weather update. Then back to town in time for bed.
