Looks like you're getting pounded again today.

I doesn’t please everyone but I would rather it be cold than hot. Much easier to warm up than it is to cool down.

Oh Horrie I’m honoured you are even thinking of me with that hectic semi retired schedule of yours and rubbing shoulders with the shakers and movers over at Allianz

Beautiful sunny winters day here today

Beautiful winters' day here. Going to do some work in the garden and veggie patch. Then have lunch, crack open a bottle of red, read my book and then prepare for the game!

Quite a bit of rain coming this week. We need it.

I still love my gas heating, and it’s so quick to warm up, and never goes into “defrost” mode.

think we will update our fireplace instead, our old one is pretty inefficient, but love turning it on to watch those flames dance.

was also considering changing from gas stove to induction, but only reason for that would be so it’s easier cleaning for the wife, and again, mixed reviews about induction stoves.
Yep I miss the gas so much. It probably had a few more years left in it but the old evap cooler is 22 years old and had required lots or replacement parts the past 3 summers. It seemed like a good deal to take out the loan and replace both with the new allegedly more efficient RC electric. I’m not sure it was worth it now and this freezing cold snap hasn’t helped me get used to the idea either. And it’s only June. The two coldest months haven’t even started yet.
