Hot here today and apparently around 35 tomorrow. That’s too hot for me and so it looks like the new aircon will be getting a final good workout before, hopefully the beautiful autumn weather settles in, my favourite season.

Was perfect weather for the beach yesterday, not to hot and low humidity.
A bit warmer today, did 45 minutes on the bike at the Allianz gym and then spent a bit over an hour in the pool doing some stretching and also relaxing, it was warmer today than yesterday but still bearable.
Tomorrow going to be a scorcher, happy we have shaded seats in the Noble Stand tomorrow for the Swans game.

Heat Wimp here...it's another summer blast in NSW over the weekend, certainly in sin city. Too hot for footy. Hate night matches but probably a good thing we are scheduled for this evening.

Came nice and early today and cleared out all the guttering and fixed the ridge capping and tiles. Just have to get a quote for the ceiling repaint once the insulation in the ceiling has dried completely. Just happy it is done now before another weather event.

Seeing the insurance claim excess will be large the body corporate is paying for the damage as the roof repair and also the repaint of our ceiling will be cost less than the excess, our strata manager said he will factor the repaint into the roof repair total.
Hopefully the roof repair will be done before the predicted heavier rain over the weekend. We have been told it is on track for tomorrow as the the person today did not have the adequate equipment and tiles to do it today.

I know we have a number of Chookpenners up North. Stay safe and hopefully you aren't in the eye of the storm.

Just had someone finally come out and look at the roof and the section where the tree banch hit has caused quiet a bit of damage to the tiles and ridge capping and is exactly where we had the damage to the bedroom ceiling during that last major rain event that happened in Feb. It is now in the hands of the strata agent for the next move.
