It’s been very mild for this time of year throughout April. We have some rain coming today and tomorrow apparently and looking at the forecast ahead it looks like the cold nights are kicking in from later next week.

Was a mixed bag here today but turned nasty late. The sky got very black around 3pm but came from the east which is very unusual. Good bit of late rain was good for the garden.

Gorgeous day here in the nations capital. The mountains were gleaming in the autumn sun with a lovely breeze rustling through the changing colours of the trees.

Spent the day outside cutting firewood. All ready for the winter now.

Beautiful Autumn day in Sydney today, was lovely to get out and go for a walk around the parks at the bottom of Glebe.

34 degrees in the middle of April is ridiculous. I wonder if that heat will move across to the east coast in a few days. I hope not. We talk about putting the heater on from Anzac Day here in the capital and that’s less than two weeks away.

A beautiful Autumn day. It’s great to get back into walking the fur boy on a more regular basis again since the heat of summer has gone. Also better now my foot is almost, pretty much back to normal again.

Is it getting colder earlier this year? I don’t know but it’s beginning to get quite cold at night time the past few days.
