Gus is born & bred in the country but he went to boarding school at Scots which is in Belleville Hill but he's not a Roosters junior.Originally posted by BigCok007 View Post
Gus was our junior to begin with, also the rest of those lads albeit Momo has been cold this year, have gone better with us. Hopefully Paulo and Allen are the same.
Nat, Egan, Suaalii or Momo have never played for Souths so of course they have gone better with us.
Keary has played top notch footy for both clubs because he's a top player no matter which team he plays for.

Maybe I was a bit liberal with ‘junior’ but he started with Chooks before going to Souffs, before returning. So my point was that he was more chook than verminOriginally posted by Mickie Lane View Post

Not sure if it has been reported on here elsewhere but I just read that Josh Man Sauce has expressed interest in joining our club and has been talking to Matt King about it.
Robbo has a history of signing over the hill wingers past their best i.e. Robinson, Copley, Wes N etc who all turned out to be plebs but Mansour is definitely the exception. I’d be happy to sign him as depth.

Why would you want to be a centre these days anyway.Originally posted by NorfolkStreetKid View PostNo way is Suaalii a centre. He's a winger right now, for at least 2 years, and then he will be a backrower.
You touch the ball less and have to do more defence.
There is a reason there's such a dearth of quality centres at the moment. You just don't get the space in the modern day game unless you are in a dominant side and even then it's still very limited.

The edge backrower kind of plays like the old inside centre then the centres today are the outside centres.
I still think Sitilli is the Roosters best backrowers, he is the Roosters most potent forward with the ball & can tackle. People on here say he's a turnstile yet he misses hardly any tackles according to his stats.
Suaalii has been dynamite for the Chooks on the wing & if it was up to me I would leave him there but he has a player option for 2024 & wants to play FB so to try & keep him happy the Chooks will offer him the number 3 jumper because the centre position is considered more prestigious than the wing position even though the wing position is heaps more involved. Wingers today are unbelievable they score the most freakish tries then they have to do the hardest carries & get hammered then save tries. Wingers are heaps more busy than the centres.

Dale may well have stuck with the wrong sport as he was a real prospect in Baseball as was Cronk and the youngest player to ever complete the MLB Academy program. Would have been drafted to one of the MLB teams for certain.Originally posted by Bondicigar View Post
Copley , only because we went there twice
I know what I would have done - take me out to the ball game

why in hell would Suaalii play centre? when his main skill is competing for a high ball and running it back.... and how is Paulo ahead of Momo ? And tell us more about how average Farnworth is. I like Paulo, and hope he goes well, but he'll have to compete for a spot.Originally posted by ism22 View PostI keep forgetting we signed Jaxson Paulo FWIW. From round 1 we may well be...
1. Teddy
2. Toops
3. Sua'ali'i
4. Manu
5. Paulo

19. Smith
20. Momirovski
One could do a lot worse...
