Paulo would be crazy not to sign up with the Roosters, even if he is offered peanuts.
He is obviously unwanted by the Rabbits.
If he has any talent, he can possibly jag a backline position in the RWB in company with Teddy, Toops, Joey Manu and Bondi Joe.
If you have that sort of talent around you , then you have the opportunity to become a star, yourself.
Given that the Roosters forwards look to be aggressive and formidable for 2023, the sky is the limit for the RWB .

This is the fantasy statistics for the year for the top 16 centres It's an unbiased assessment using all criteria, from try assists , metres gained, missed tackles ...you know the drill. Paul Momos season average is 29.6......There are 45 players in the NRL who played centre with a higher average. I would cut Hutch a lot of slack as he filled in in many positions. A genuine all rounder as a fill-in, not a specialist.

The problem with those stats and rankings are some of the following

Euan Aitken played only 1 NRL game in 2022 at centre
Kayal Iro played only one NRL game in 2022 as a winger
Bird played only 2 NRL games in 2022 at centre
Izaac Thomsom played only 2 NRL games in 2022 as a winger and not as a centre
Taylan May - all his NRL games in 2022 were as a winger
Matt Burton - all his NRL games in 2022 were as a 5/8
Ronaldo Mulitalo - played only 1 game in 2022 at centre all the others as a winger

If people believe these stats from fantasy leagues reflect a players performance and ability to play NRL then in 2021 the Hutchinator averaged 47.2 fantasy points- be crickets from his detractors acknowledging this though

Going by these fantasy stats then Aitken and Iro are better centres than Holmes/Graham/Lomax/Crichton for an example

Fantasy stats is an apt name for them

The Paul Momirovski detractors never give up - gees give the guy a break/off season

Momo is only a back up if someone goes down. He can't be classed as a starter anymore due to his awful defence & very no frills attack.

He left us in 2018 & went to Tigers, Storm, Panthers & back to us for some reason after not securing long term contracts elsewhere. I wonder why? Bad defence & not much offer in attack?

Would love to see him next year actually hit & stick in tackles rather than grab & let go.

Penrith wanted to keep him as I posted elsewhere - Robbo wanted him to come back - He took a pay cut to come back as did Watson - $150k or so a season from what they were offered by Penrith and Knights respectively

Your are only partly correct Salvo. There are anomalies where the players you highlighted have had very few games to get a true average. However Momos number of games of 16 this year is sufficient to say his average of 29.6 is a true reflection of his actual performances and is very low in comparison to the good centres.

SMH today suggested that the Roosters are interested in Corey Allen (currently with the Dogs).

The Roosters are in the market for an outside back and one player they are taking an interest in is Corey Allan. He is a more than capable winger and fullback but he has not found his feet at the Bulldogs.

From memory he was fairly decent at South's but went to Bulldogs & hasn't been sighted much there for whatever reason.

History suggests we likely won't get much with Momo & Billy Smith next year so Allen is an upgrade.

He did play well in Origin and got a stupidly mega deal at the Dogs (reportedly $500k a year). Maybe he didn’t try as hard with that safety net? Doesn’t augur well that he couldn’t even get into that bulldogs team
