Soward should have been the halfback.

Cogburn, over many years on these forums I have seen many viewpoints from you. I can't say the same for Rusty. But I am sure he can speak for himself.

So you did not read my posts after game 2????
I would want for nothing more than for Mitch Finch to be the superstar his loyal fans preach
I have seen nothing in his play for the Roosters or NSW to make me think any differant that he is an above average 1st grade footballer and nothing more, he is not a match winner, he has an ordinary kicking game and his 2 main strengths defending and organising get found out more often than not.

I wish i could see the magic everyone else sees in this bloke, i just cant

Rooster Cogburn you are a malcontent pure and simple. Anything you have to say is irrelevant.

Anderson bit the bullet and promoted Pearce after giving Soward a few opportunities.

The club was as ****ed back then as it is now.

Ok..i misread what you said. However you are totally wrong about your 0% chance because Soward played (against cronulla from memory) just before he left. Releasing soward was a major mistake, most good judges here know it. Anasta should have been moved to lock.

It's obvious I'm right and you have just confirmed it.

Soward won the game and awarded MOM in his last game for the club, in fact the night he was sacked

Soward has said numerous times himself that he's not a halfback and he couldn't handle the pressure there, deadset!

Both halves and gidley were shit, get over it. My forward pack was rubbish.

Actually, Soward left the roosters because he and Josh lewis both demanded releases.

Soward demanded a release a day or 2 after we played Brisbane (if memory serves me correct) in gosford.

Soward was used sparingly but he certainly didn't get the red hot go that Pearce has gotten.

He played halfback as Pearce was injured, Bwaith was still there in the 6.

Soward was told a couple of hours before the cronulla game( his last game) he was free to go elswhere by Anderson, St George had been circling for a while and he jumped at the chance
