Junior rep teams aren't always a good indicator of talent. A lot of them are filled with players who have developed physically much earlier than their peers. Their size and strength have them carve up their smaller opposition. Then when they get older and come up against men they have nothing. I'm not saying thats matterson as I've never seen him before this year.

That's true for sure, but was responding to your comment that some players can look ordinary until they hit grade, was just saying he must have had something going for him to make those teams as rarely do ordinary players represent their country and state

Well according to the Tele, Hastings has been dropped and Matterson to 5/8 with Watson on the bench as utility... If true, seems like my first post here was somewhat a good prediction of Matterson.

I said previously Watson and Materson the best of our 9 debutants this season. The two sons.
Further commented on whats on speed at the time whilst after the Titans game it was so evident our lack of speed and predictability. Robbo Robots ? Watson will bring speed and spark to our game. I just hope he is on the field the same time as the other son. Matterson.so far they are my only highlights of the season. the two great white hopes.

Your hate for Hastings is sickening, we should support all our players not matter how they perform on and off the field, it is not a good thing to be so one eyed and biased against someone

I honestly can't believe the hate for Hastings. He hasn't set the world alight but I haven't left any game this year thinking Hastings was to blame for a poor performance.

A combination of apparent attitude problems, average league performances and Ryan Mattersons rise is where i think all the hate is coming from.
