We never recovered from the loss of Jared. Skidsy's first touch set the tone. In hindsight Pearce was a risk that didn't pay off. The Brisbane crowd and stadium seemed to spook us. Our loss to Melbourne killed off our hopes after week one. Maybe we believed our own press. We got smashed and they had the game plan to cut us up. I will be surprised if fat dud Hodges plays next week. We were outgunned and list tonight to a better team on yhe day. It hurts, but we didn't deserve to go all the way.

Playing Aubs and Guerra out wide stifled us tonight.

      Pearce shouldnt have played.

We were unwilling to work our way back into the game. Trying to score every play. This was our biggest undoing in the last two years. Something Robbo needs to fix going forward.

          1. The loss of JWH and injury to Pearce ended our season. I felt it at the time but wanted to deny it.
          2. Desire is everything. Brisbane wanted it so much more.
          3. The SKD error was enormous. It gave them unstoppable momentum.
          4. Extending on the above, smart coaches wait for us to beat ourselves. We're so error prone it's scary. We just played into Brosbane's hands from the first mistake.
          5. Our window is closed. We need an internal inquest into why we've been abject failures in the finals the past two years.
          6. I will continue to have faith in Robbo. Anybody that criticises him is a ****wit.

Just like the prelim semi last year against Penrith , the first semi cost us big time.

                I didn't mind. Beats 12 losses in a row like 09"

That was a tough one to take.

To me, much, much harder than last year.

Very poor leadership on the field. Just absolute blind panic in every play. Says a lot about the coach. Either he is arrogant with all the talent at his disposal, or he is an idiot. Maybe both.

We don't need an inquest Tommy. Somedays you just don't win. We were totally outplayed by a very good football team.
I agree whole heartedly that those on here questioning Robbo are #$%&@#$.

Finals footy is about making the most of your good luck - they had heaps , they had a better game plan. If we had one it didn't work.

Gave their little men too much time and space , outside in wing defense killed us twice.

Broncs had the right stuff on the night good luck to them

If we are resetting with the view to win a comp in 3 years time, I think the call has to be to get rid of Pearce. Hes not particularly good, he most certainly is not a leader or captain and not a winner.

Its clear to me that we let the wrong half go, I don't think I can survive another 5-10 years of him.

We played crap because for the players there is no consequence for doing so....All get paid next year. Like lets not hold them accountable.
The SKD pass will go down in finals folklore like the Sattler tackle...it will be played over and over again. We never got over it and our defence was absolute crap.

This is a poor thing to say.

Who on our team would you consider a leader of men? JWH? Friend? Maloney? I would not put Pearce in that category. Friend does not fill me in confidence. Maloney is gone.

Brisbane have old heads everywhere, in 2013 we had Mini, LOD, SBW on top of the aforementioned. This proved to be our fatal flaw tonight in my opinion, a lack of character and leadership. The coach can only do so much and is not to blame.
