Can't say i agree with Robbo on this one.

RTS hasn't really stopped since pre season 2013.

Compare his work load with that of the boys being rested.

His workload looked fine to me.

    His stats too.

Sure he made a couple of bad mistakes but, like Robbo, I forgive them. And I don't think they are down to fatigue.

Things are getting serious now and we want our best on the field.

I wouldn't complain, however, if Guerra didn't play.

      Suggesting Guerra isn't offering much?
I think he's been poor all season.

Does anyone else think that Rog should have a wee spell?
RTS had more time off than anyone else following the 4 Nations

He also had holiday in NZ (& negotiate a Warriors offer) over that time while most of the team were back.

We were 32-0 until he threw a dumb pass and gave up possession. They scored straight away and we all know what happened next.

Other times he had a massive overlap and didn't pass.

His passing game is so poor he can't play out wide and, for mine, he isn't hard enough to play lock.

I wouldn't mind if they offloaded him.

By the way, Boyd's passing game isn't much better but at least he runs hard.

The money for Guerra should have gone to RTS.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we really ****ed that one up.

I don't know what's happened to the 2013 Guerra. Even in 2014 he was one of our best.

There is no way they would have beaten the Worriers offer - no matter what money went to it.

$800K plus for a fullback does not fit into our equation.

As it stands, the Worriers have hobbled themselves. Stories coming out already about how they have to shift players to fit him in.

The real stuff up was not signing him before the Worriers were even on the scene.

If we would have offloaded every player who's going through a slump we would have a brand new team. Guerra, like Toupo will get out of it.

It can't help Guerra that his back is turned to our own goal line whenever he tries to pass the ball. The hit and spin thing is fine if the pass isn't on but if he is going to pass the ball, he needs to be running forwards, not backwards.

Not all of them get out of it. Some players go into a slump for, say, eight years and they never get out of it - though in fairness that could be due to physical limitations.

You could be right, however the salary cap is always a massive juggling act, we are pretty well stocked for backrowers so if any rebalancing of the squad is required, Guerra is probably the lowest hanging fruit right now. I always thought Toops form was impacted by the club having little interest in retaining him at the start of the year. If RTS stayed, he was definitely out the door, think about how well he had gone in the past 2 years to facing the prospect of being cut. It just seemed to affect him mentally. If there is a silver lining, his form meant most other clubs dropped off interest and the only club that also wanted him was Parra and they got caught being over the cap.

I think Guerra trimmed down quite a bit for this year, I am not sure if that has anything to do with his form this year

Guerra needs a nice big Vitamin B shot in the Glutes

Daniel's got the Richard Kuklinski flat affect down pat. He should acquire the nickname Ice Man.

**** this forum can be stupid.

Tobin's shot at Mini takes the cake though.
