We'll be fit and firing for 80 min.

As a fan I'm allowed to be confident.

I was scared of the Storm but we match up brilliantly vs the Knights with our relentless speed and aggression.

The players with Robbo will be the ultimate professionals.
Last time we played the Knights they gave us a SERIOUS run for our money!!!

Probably glad it's them and not the Storm but don't think it will be an easy game. Wayne knows how to play finals footy (Bellamy's just a hack who has had the luxury of being able to cheat for close to a decade.)

I'll be there expecting some bloody good football!!!! Where's everybody going after the game?

i watched the yawnfest last night and again I see the Teflon kid shoulder charge uatea (u r tay) HOW EVER YOU SPELL THE BLOODY NAME.
The knaughts winger gets a wide pass 15 meters out , running for the corner and 5 meters out here comes the Teflon kid with his shoulder charge to try to stop a certain try. and suck shit Teflon they score. watch the news replays and tell me why this is not a chargable offence

Funny you say that, cause later in the game knights get penalised for a shoulder on Teflon billy, then score a try, I asked whether he would go on report

BJ's finally turning into the player we all knew he could be.

          Brilliant timing.

Why is anyone scared? Jesus Christ I would have taken Sophie Mirabella on a date if you'd offered me a preliminary final against the Knights. They might hang with us for 40 mins but our fresh troops will roll them by 20+.

Last night was the Knights' grand final.

I think most on here would agree, but no one wants to get their hopes up too much.

We are certainly well positioned playing a side outside the top 4, our troops fresh and very few injuries.

Don't you know... the refs are against us, the NRL is against us, everyone is against us, Bennett is a wizard!!!
Come on people, conjure up some more fancies as to why they'll want the Knights in the GF.
A couple of refereeing decisions do not determine an NRL game.

Actually, all 4 teams that are left are from the old arl who did not side with superleague, where as the 4 teams that have been knocked out were superleague aligned, Looks like news has got no say in the conspiracies this year.
No it's not News LTD calling the shots this week it's Wayne Bennett mate. All his pull with the refs.... Haven't you heard?

I guess we'll see by the refereeing next Saturday night as to the agenda of the NRL wanting an all-Sydney Grand Final?

I nearly crapped my thong when Tyrone went down last night!

                      This.

It'll be very tough for periods of the game; but like you said if someone offered us a home Prelim vs the Knights a few weeks ago we all would have jumped at it.

They're tough and experienced. But we're tough, experienced, fit, fresh, skillful ... and at our best a class above the Knights.

JWH will be frothing at the mouth. I cant wait to see his first hit up.

In some ways this match up reminds me of when we had to play Cowboys in 2004 Line up wise no as Cowboys were a youngish side then as opposed to Knights However both got on a roll come finals time

Just like the Cowboys this is a match where the danger of being beaten is real The team, must prepare and play to their best and just like the Cowboys game if we do this we will probably win in a close match

Quite frankly anyone who does not give Newcastle a chance is in for a rude shock next week If they perform in the manner they did last night
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

They missed 31 tackles and 9 errors but they only gave away two penalties and kicked very well....our pack and defence is a different proposition. Yes they have a chance but we have to be very heavy favourites, its not a given but I feel we will pump them and we can match their speed...fast game will suit us.

They celebrated like they won the GF we made the same mistake in 2010, I say they played their GF.

I usually watch the broadcasts with no audio due to the punishing channel 9 team yet at times I have listened and it glaringly obvious that Gould loves Newcastle / he has been riding them home for weeks now.also the commentary during the manly easts game did the game no justice whatsoever so I have decided to fly back from overseas to give my support at the game.

Put simply, if we can't beat the 7th placed side then we don't deserve to make the GF!

My only concern going into this game is SBW, JWH and LOD. The judiciary will be sweating big time on getting a crack at them and suspend them from being able to play in the GF! If any of those 3 sneeze, fart or burp with the slightest amount of force they will be gone! We know $ouff$ players of a free license to kill and get away with it, unfortunately we have no such luxuries!

SBW must not get sucked in by Mason's crap, as undoubtedly Mason will be looking to bait him with plenty of lip service! Robbo must make a point of this, avoid the crap and just play our game.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                                Here's looking at you, kid.
