Totally out of left field didnt expect a GF qualifer against them. Saying that mel were dead flat again. Now its just a case of beating whats in front of us. On the funny side of things sportsbet have installed Souffs as favourites.

The odds on them was $4.00 btw. I felt like throwing a lazy $50 on them, but my mind said no. I should have known better than to bet against wayne Bennett coached teams, they always get the calls their way.Originally posted by easts4eva View PostTotally out of left field didnt expect a GF qualifer against them. I actually don't think it's the refs fault, I think Bennett can just wave his hand and they listen to whatever he says.Originally posted by davos View PostThe odds on them was $4.00 btw. Like a Jedi KNIGHT mind trick.

I think the refs might be on our side next week, Rooster Vs Rabbitohs is the perfect GF for the game, in terms of revenue and T.V. audiences.Originally posted by Tommy Smith View PostBennett always gets the calls his way? What like the penalty for the "high shot" on Slater which led to the Storms first try?
We were on the end of a 98-2 penalty count in Newcastle and still dusted them.
The refs won't save the Knights next week even if they try

Miya I think our big boys will eat theirs, Mason and Faalogo dont impress me as starting props. JHW + SBW offloading all day creating second phase play and our defense is in a different league to the storm. I got my GF tickets and I am going to watch easts.Originally posted by Josh View PostKnights forward pack is incredibly experienced, littered with players who have finals/Origin/big game experience. It's their halves and centres that are lacking big game time. Mullen has one Origin and a couple of finals, while Roberts has nothing.
Robo will have the game plan and the boys ready to roll them" A man can only walk as far as he can see"

I can't see us not making the GF, it's just like there's no possible way we will lose next week.Originally posted by SConcierge View PostMiya I think our big boys will eat theirs, Mason and Faalogo dont impress me as starting props. Blowjob will have a point to prove. He is more of a second rower than Matai.
I too think SKD has improved his defence lately, but I think BJ will use his power game and Shaun doesn't like using his shoulder to tackle.

Same here. Bought two Platinum tickets weeks ago. I'm doing over-time right now to pay for the flights over from Perth.Originally posted by SConcierge View PostMiya I think our big boys will eat theirs, Mason and Faalogo dont impress me as starting props. A part of me really wanted a go at Melbourne. Out of form or not it's a feather in your hat to beat the reigning premiers and a team that has long been the barometer of whether yours is good enough, tough enough and willing to work hard enough.
I suppose Newcastle will have to do.

No way.Originally posted by fletch:337878Newcastle's ball movement in the first half was exceptional, they will test our fringes much like Manly did, must say I would have preferred playing the Storm they look tired/busted, the Knights look like this seasons momentum team much like the Eeels in 2009, us in 2010, Warriors in 2011.
The halves shat themselves a bit I thought.
Wait until our pigs are sending traffic their way and they're getting pressured. They'll have nothing.

Bj was on fire last night... but in saying that what the hell was he doing yelling at someone while they were unconscious? His got a face that you wanna hit. But im sure we' ll more than handle him next week. Roosters to be too strong and powerful next week. The week off will work wonders. Go the chooks!!!

Maybe they want a rematch of the last ARL grand final between newcastle-manly?Originally posted by roostersrule2 View PostI think the refs might be on our side next week, Rooster Vs Rabbitohs is the perfect GF for the game, in terms of revenue and T.V. audiences.
Actually, all 4 teams that are left are from the old arl who did not side with superleague, where as the 4 teams that have been knocked out were superleague aligned, Looks like news has got no say in the conspiracies this year.
