I agree with what Tommy is saying.

While I don't think they will be walkovers the Knights are a much better match up for us.

If we play well I'm very confident.

We got some pretty nice decisions last time we played Knights....

And I hope our players aren't as overly confident as OP..
Yes but if the Storm would have won you'd be more nervous cause you know how well they can play. I think that for me it's a relief the Knights won as we are able to match their best. Winning the game is in our hands.

Were any of the 14 penalties awarded to the knights that day also pretty nice?

How many times has that bitten us... Been our Achilles heal for long long time, games we should win etc. but we're a different beast this year.

One thing is certain, it will be a very healthy crowd, maybe that's what the nrl wanted!

                  We'll get them.

Both teams have good, fast, skillful backs and both teams have mobile forwards. Newcastles backs though can either make or break their side. Boyd, McManus (if he plays) and Gagai are pretty consistent where as Uate and Leilua can knock on at the worst of times and also bomb certain tries. You rarely see that with our backs, our forwards can also ball play whereas that's one skill that Newcastle lack.

That Tyrone Roberts is a great young player and Mullen is underrated, saying that though I believe that we have the best halves in the comp, well on par with Manly. Our forwards are a lot younger which helps with their speed and footwork but the Knights have the advantage of experience. We also have SBW. One area where I think we really are ahead on is the hooker position, Buderus is past it and I think Hilder goes to dummy half a bit but he is nothing special whereas Friend is the most improved player in the NRL and playing out of his skin and Mortimer doesn't let you down and has great support play.

Overall I'd say it'll be a great game, we have very even backlines, both forward packs are very good, but I'd say ours are better and our halves can capitalize better. I can almost see a repeat of the game earlier in the year, a grudge match for 60 minutes before we run away with it in the end.

SKD maybe earlier in the year but of late he's been as safe as a bank.

Matai who is regarded as one of the most destructive centres in the game was more then handled by SKD, his defence last Saturday was brilliant, if he keeps that up nothing will get through him.

BJ is as accident prone as SKD. Just kick it to him and watching drop it like it's hot.
