Official Trial Day Thread: Roosters v Eels

Poor DCE better have a man of the match performance and at least five try assists tonight otherwise some of you on here are going to call for a public hanging.

Potentially a baptism of fire for DCE as this Eels team will make the 8 imo. Remember they pumped us last time we met.

Forward battle should be interesting and quite physical for a trail game.

We will beat them easily but that gives no indication of our form going into the comp proper. This is almost the same team as last year. Our halves are small with very poor defense which can’t stop big forwards rushing through. They will be targets all season. Injuries and concussions have haunted us for years and this year without a ball being kicked we’ve already lost Robson. Then there’s our errors which Robbo never gets around to fixing. Can’t see us making the top 4 but top 8 maybe.

In the first half of last weeks trial Nat Butcher did a great job of being Rodwells minder.

Not if we don't have 100% completions to start the game...and a very low mistake rate.
