My guess is that if we could fix our errors, dumb penalties and our 2nd half ruck looseness then our pace will be ok, but we certainly don't have any/many burners in our team.

Changing pace and direction makes the opposition's defence adjust and our attacker lives to fight another 'day'.
All Collins does is change pace slowing down
he doesn’t change direction or have any footwork he just slows up and gets dominated either way
that’s the issue he has no lateral movement

We played too flat last season limiting our time and space which effected our execution at times. Also hard to find your rhythm when you're constantly turning over possession. Great to watch and blew teams off the park occasionally however unsustainable! Easy pickings for the top teams.

It'll be interesting to see how we approach this season and will the risk level be wound back a touch.

        • We should start with Spence and Whyte.

Collins getting rag dolled lifts the opposition. Not a great way to start your game!

You most certainly are not alone Jack. I'd imagine Teddy is our fastest back and he aint getting any faster!

I believe Ramsey is now our fastest back

Wow. I never would have picked it. Thanks for setting me straight.

Actually there is a little more to it. Please allow Batesy to elaborate.

                  * Ramsey, on one leg is now our fastest back.

Eels got plenty of 6 agains, you'd hope the Eels weren't being favoured in the 'officiating dept'.
That annoyed me too BB. If it were us, they'd be calling it back straight away. 2 in a row I think it was..just keep calm and follow Easts like my old user name and avatar used to say. I'm going to dig it out for luck. It's seen us through some grand final wins..

                    • That try where Marky had the ball stolen. That final pass was clearly forward with none of that forward momentum passing while running.
He was getting tackled and the ball clearly went forward. No reason the bunker shouldn't rule on those or when passes are thrown where a player is not running forward.
Close to line balls I can accept but some are clearly a metre or so forward and not getting picked up by ground officials.

                      • Who gives a continental about forward balls in trials. Not the refs certainly. As long as Un Forward balls aren't called back during the proper comp I'm good. My pet hate in the game.

                        • I thought there were a lot of forward passes Parra got away with in that game. Broncos are another team which seem to get away with multiple forward passes a game.
