while the bondi pogrom happened because there were two nuts who slipped through the net and revealed their nuttiness with tragic and disgusting consequences it is right to say that a culture of anti-semitism helped foster it. thing is that didn't happen overnight (not by a long shot) and it's dumb to think that if the government had clamped down on pro-palestinian protests that that would have eradicated anti-semitism. for that reason the libs are wrong to attack the government and say that albo is responsible for what happened. yes, the state could have done more to protect the jewish community but to imply that the government was kind of on the bridge handing the nuts ammunition is wide of the mark and interferes with what should be a bipartisan attack on an agreed enemy: nutty fundamentalists.

the libs are in a fight for political survival and are clutching at straws but not all jews blame the government. the boos directed at albo might have been louder but there were just as many people clapping on bondi last sunday.

it's also important to separate the pro-palestinian protests from what happened last sunday. no doubt there are some anti-semitic nuts amongst the protesters but there are also reasonable people who want peace in the region and justice for both israeli and palestinian.

He has explained why, takes too long. I thought that I'd like to see one because, like a lot of people, I'd like to see the excoriation of our "Security" services but that won't happen and why would a progressive government want to wear the incompetence and the fury of that lot. The last time that the security mob were examined by the Hope Royal Commisioon, a mate (Justice Hope) gave them a free pass.

Did anyone blame Tony Abbott or demand a royal commission after the Lindt Café siege? What I remember is a call for unity across Australia. This time, though, the response feels very different. Why?

Lol…I think it’s called double standards or hypocrisy. Something like that.

And why was Sussan Ley complaining about Penny Wong not crying? Why are women attacking women over such stereotypes and did she complain about any blokes not crying? I thought Ley would be a welcome change to the Libs but this one has got me shaking my head.

Do you think it is fair that they can get 0% loans that are not available to anyone else?[/QUOTE]

              Good luck to them!

I was paying 14% interest in the 80's at one stage and now I own numerous properties.

h, the Libs overdid it, bad actors. But while most people might laugh at Sussan, many others would agree. Problem is they're mostly Libs or Jews. They blew it but there was obviously a co-ordinated campaign by Newscorpse with the Libs, to make thhe tragedy all about Albo and with with any luck to stain the goverment irreparebly. The lurid "reporting" - revelations and charges of one ridiculous thing sfter another get a run on other channels especially if a polly says something controversial. "Abanese has Blood on His Hands" blares the banner. In the article you find out that it's Netanyahu's opinion. It's manufactured crisis but, nevertheless, also gets a run on the ABC.

This is malign media behaviour and in this present context, has hit a whole new low.

I was working hard and not making excuses or blaming others for my shortcomings.

It's easy to play the victim.

This thread waa doomed from the start. It is my opinion that most Australians are still having trouble processing the evil of the deeds committed at Bondi. And while I don't expect everyone on the Pen to have the same opinions about the terrorist attack I can't let this continue. Please don't start another thread on this topic or bannings will be handed out.
