Thankyou, thankyou BernieOriginally posted by Duchess_of_Bondi View Post
Never will be in my house. I popped a card in the mail for you last week along with some Roosters stickers for your grandchildren. (This is Bernie by the way using my neighbour's login as she has moved home to Ireland
). It's very quiet in our building when normally it would be filled with laughter from visitors from all over the place including the grandchildren of the lovely family across the hallway.
I really love sending Christmas cards, birthday cards and beautiful cards in general for no reason but to show someone else I am thinking of them and that I care. It's a dying art but one I will always keep going. It's a real privilege to be able to sit down and handwrite something for someone. I'm taking up diamond art as well.
Must be time for my Earl Grey. I always crave one straight after lunch.
Your lovely card arrived yesterday afternoon. It is the one and only xmas card I received this year.
Very happy to see you on the site again.
btw, I think I'll claim the roosters stickers for myself. I'll appreciate them more than my little piggies will.

. You are very welcome and the stickers are from the new membership packs as I have 2 for both the mens' and womens' teams. I'm finally starting to properly do my scrapbooks of Roosters memorabilia and have been sorting them in chronological order first.

This played in the car when i was driving back from Coogee and i thought what a perfect song for The Tea Drinkers thread. It is one of my favourite songs from Sharon O Neill.

Imagine sitting down for your regular cup of tea and opening up the packet and getting this instead

Was in my local Coles this afternoon and in their meat section they had their own brand sausage 10 packs marked down, funny thing though one pack with best before todays date was marked down from $7 something to $3.71 but the exact same product with the best before date of tomorrow was marked at $3.22 from the same $7 price point. This happens a lot at my local Coles, with markdown prices of meat products dearer on the day they are expiring than the mark down prices of the same product with the expiry of the following day.

Is it difficult to unteach something???
E,g Robbo's Roosters style philosophy that we witnessed last season that turns over too much posession and gives away unnecessary penalties. Penalties that we can't defend against in the 6 again era that cost us games.
It'll be interesting to see if we have a new approach or does Robbo double down as he knows his position as head coach is safe as a bank?
Stay tuned.
