    • Was going to be ham but had ham and eggs for lunch so have got out some left over curried sausages and also sausage casserole from the freezer, one can one, the other can have the other, just not quite enough of either to feed two although i could probably almost stretch out the curried sausages if i do a batch of rice.

I'll often cook up a pasta dish using Italian Sausage. The Boys at South Nowra (South Nowra Meats) have excellent gourmet snags

Sauce is pretty much what I would make for Spaghetti and Meatballs however I like to add a little Cayenne Pepper.

I cooked up some ham and eggs for lunch today too! It will be left over salads for dinner. Well I’ll add some fresh lettuce and other stuff to what’s left from yesterday. If people want some meat with that they can add some cold turkey, ham or pork.

Turducken? I guess it’s turkey, duck and chicken?

            • @milanja , the Christmas Day lunch buffet at the Sofitel Wentworth held in the Delta Rue restaurant was superb, Prawns, bugs, oysters, crab, all excellent, the roasts of ham, turkey, pork and lamb all very good and the sides, salads and cold meats, cheeses all very good, there was so much more. $249 for 3 hours of food and alcohol, it actually went for 4 hrs service wise food and alcohol. Could not fault the service it was immaculate, i actually reckon it was better than last year as we knew what to expect and paced ourselves accordingly.

I'm not really sure and to be honest I'm a little concerned.

My mother in law is the nicest person on this plant! She has early dementia and comes and stays with us on the weekends. Sometimes it's for 3 to 4 nights. The thing is she forgets to put her meats in the fridge for hours after she's been shopping so we're always unclear about the produce she brings down when she visits.

                Stay tuned

Will be interesting to see what you think of the Turducken, i had one from Aldi quite a few years back and was very underwhelmed.

I am almost sick of ham already and still have so much to get through. Will be having it for dinner tomorrow.

                        Apparently you can pickle it

My blister (sister) made the most incredible ham and cheese croquettes post christmas day once upon a time and we rolled them in home made chilli oil..... Next level!

I sometimes make a pasta with Italian sausages also but will make more of pink sauce with tomato and a bit of cream. i do beef or pork chipolatas with basically a spag bol sauce.

                          • Lol, better half just commented there is more than enough curried sausages once it defrosted and i rolled my eyes and said i thought as much but you wanted both lots defrosted, i actually feel like the other sausage casserole anyway so there will be some curried sausages left over to have on toast for breakfast or lunch tomorrow.

                            • Made a platter with ham , haloumi, asparagus, pineapple, pickled onions, tomato and basil leaves for dinner last night after having some olives and dolmades. One thing for sure it wont be ham for dinner tonight.

                              • The line up is 20 plus meters out the door at Hayden's Pies ....... I think I'll give it a miss today!

A Sydney based franchise would be lucrative imo.
