I don't think Ben Hunt would be the right signning. He isn't in the same calibre as Cronk. Hunt hasn't tasted club success. He might be the best player in his club, but is yet to lead St Merge deep into a finals series.
his skillset and hunger ...our skill set and systems

When we do go to market to replace Keary I'd rather someone who is cool under pressure and might not be a big superstar as opposed to signing Hunt and be chomping the nails in each big game.

I guess the most famous and known example of this is the 2015 grand final where he knocked it on allowing the Cows to kick the winner but another one that comes to mind is in 2018 when he was expected to lead the team around the field in an important finals match for St George only to go into the last minute where he threw a forward pass allowing Souths to get the ball and Reynolds to kick the winning field goal with 30 seconds to go.

Hunts strengths are quite similar to Cronk. This suits the Robbo Roosters playing system.
