if they are involved, have they seen much of Ranga 2 at 5/8, cause from what I've seen of ranga 3 at 5/8, he goes alright.

I get the feeling benny boy is going to go missing at 6, I know the kid is young but i don't see anything special in his game.

i think you are right, and i think that will be his role, just to be there as a foil for pearce.

Jones will probably be told, "you do your think, but Pearce will call the shots".

I don't like Jones at 5/8.. done nothing there tbh

I wouldn't mind Cherro getting a run at centre as well

His best position is on the bench for Reserve grade at best.

How can you be a "foil" and be told to "do your own thing".

                    They are two opposites.

Pearce is the one to do his own thing wouldn't you say?

Hopefully Fittler tells both these young halves nothing and allows them to sort it out between themselves. They are more than capable of doing that given the opportunity.

The season is gonski - perfect time to take the shackles off these blokes and let them experiment a little, without being limited by outdated "game plans", such as they are.

He sure does; play for 40 and look like world beaters then turn the lights off and go through the motions. That is on a good day.

Exactly, which is why I want him to leave the young halves alone - nothing he says to them will improve their performance, just encourage mediocrity.

I don't know why Fittler doesn't come here for advice...

Just in this thread alone, we have Cherrington playing as a wide backrower, then to prop, and also as a centre..

                                He must go alright...

I like the look of the team with Jones in the halves...I want to see him more involved..
