Unlike previous games, the interviews I've seen with our players haven't give any cannon fodder to the Vermin. We've played down the hatred and not lit their fire. On the other had the grubs are talking up the hatred between the players and trying to bait the club and fans. If we play in to it we will get crucified by the media. I don't want to win the fight. I don't want to win the words. I want to win the fk'en game and not let these antagonists think they're better. Time for Redemption.

I doubt the game will be as venomous as the semi.

That game was do or die and when we were clearly on top they played with the grubby tactics to knock our players out for HIA's and we retaliated. Whether we should have or not is debatable but the ref did nothing when Teddy was knocked out so imo we had every right to retaliate.

The previous game was fairly tamed as I believe this one will be.

I’m very interested to see how our game changes with Radley back in the side, I thought our game plan vs the Warriors was very simple and that’s what worked well for us.

I’m a big fan of Radley and think unlike a lot of locks who just chain pass he has some genuine ball playing ability but I wouldn’t mind seeing it shelved or at least significantly reduced until we’ve really nailed the fundamentals. Radley is a such a dangerous ball runner for us, I really want to see him nail that part of his game this year.

Excellent post and well said. Yesterday had 2 Vermin lovefest photos on the SMH site and only added Teddy's signing later. Not looking for the rest of the week now at any articles..

If you remember or go back and watch our games late last year when we were on that winning streak Radley was not playing as a ball player he was hitting it up the centre when we were coming out of our own end he was head down running straight and hard

That run also coincided with lodge coming to the club with his big runs and quick play the balls.

i just hope that Trent has addressed us being shut down in the centres. nz and the delfins did it against us. The centre from the opposition rushes up on either Teddy wrapping around or on Joey or Joseph. we need something better than trying to creat an over lap. Try the inside ball or totally cut out teddy joey and Joseph

It’s hard to see us winning this one. Souths are a top 4 team and are in much better form than us so I’m tipping a souths win.

Trent is a super coach right?
we are playing at home and close to full strength, we should win or go very close.
we should complete over 75% in BOTH halves because we have a super coach
and at least 10 players classed as TOP QUALITY
we should make at least 90% of our tackles because we have a super coach
the players should be 100% mentally and phtsically prepared..... because we have a super coach.
we should get at least 50% possession.
We should win...... RIGHT ???
