AFL just has refs doing alleged 'irregular betting' and a Brownlow Medallist going on ice-fuelled rampages, then selling drugs to people at rehab facilities. Oh yeah and they boo indigenous players into retirement... but that's 'not racist'.

I like how League's a bit simpler. Blokes occasionally get drunk and do stupid shyte. That's about it.
The soccer World Cup is still probably the only genuine World Cup where more than a handful of teams can win, and the one that is played in almost every nation, Although the Italians should start concentrating on rugby league a bit more, because it seems like it’s the only World Cup they seem to be able to qualify for these days.

Italy might qualify for the next one in 2026 having not qualified for the last 2 (2018/2022) when it increases from 32 to 48 Nations competing.

      2026 Men's FIFA World Cup in Canada/US/Mexico - 48 Qualifiers - UEFA from 13 to 16 - Oceania from 0.5 to 1 1/3 - AFC from 4.5 to 8 1/3 - CAF from 5 to 9 1/3 - CONCACAF - 3.5 to 6 1/3 (+ 1/3) - CONMEBOL - 4.5 TO 6 1/3.

Will Australia bid again for the Men's FIFA World cup ?

I love football and really enjoy watching the EPL & Serie A but find no enjoyment in the A-league. It’s neither a breeding ground for young Australian talent or an enjoyable brand of football so it’s hard to get invested into it despite how much I love the game.

It’s just why get worked up over some plastic chairs? It’s really not that deep. I would be saying the same thing if it was about the Roosters, it’s just a reflection of outrage culture. It’s petty it’s small, it’s all a detraction from issues that actually matter. Don’t put any time or energy into it, Rothfield is a leech.
The paint on your car door is plastic. I wonder how you feel if it was keyed?

100%. Turning a blind eye to what some see as trivial issues leads to bigger problems.

Obviously not but if they think that’s ok, their next target might be the front door to someone’s house. Oh, but as long as it’s not yours right?

You would need to be trying to break them which is where the problem is. They don’t just break off on their own. It’s malicious damage which is a crime.

quality doesn’t seem there tracky, must be made to suit the 60kg new age vegan, along with the narrow isle’s.

“Venues NSW confirmed the situation following reports patrons had been forced to “hold up seats with their feet” at the $828 million venue.

One punter who attended the rugby union international told ABC News that the seats “were tilting forward from the moment we got there, and it progressively got worse as the game went on, and we were literally holding up the seats with our feet, almost like doing a wall sit for the first half”.

“I was getting a sore bottom and quads from holding the seat up. The row in front of us was also broken,” he told ABC.

There was also video circulating on social media of a worker adjusting seating with a drill during the Friday night game.”

That’s terrible. Obviously I wasn’t there but there’s a difference between seats breaking and seats being broken.

Sounds like a bit of both.

It's a point... they need to be designed to be kicked by angry sports fans. Apparently making a square stadium is what we all wanted/needed though.

I never said the SFS don't have the right to be pissed off about the situation. Odd point.

Not an odd pint at all R6. It’s highlighting the fact that your original comment trivialised mindless vandalism which you then attempted to justify by devaluing the damage by nature of what the damage product is made of.

I would say it’s a very valid point.

Don’t need it. If you do, that’s your problem, not mine.
