  • Seats at Allianz Stadium smashed/destroyed

Well that didn't take long...before soccer fans disgraced themselves.
Not 2 seats destroyed...30 seats have to be replaced.
Sydney FC will be sent the repair bill next week.

    Buzz column.

    #####

Maybe FC should be more concerned with crowd control that an illuminated 'Sydney Roosters' sign.
Maybe FC should throw the tarps over violent soccer fans instead.

It's not the plastic seats...it's the violence, and disrespect of the nice new stadium.
Who destroys seats in a stadium, especially a nice new one like Allianz?
I could answer my own question, but doing that might get me into trouble.

The people who destroyed the seats should be banned from the Stadium and prosecuted.
There is CCTV, their photos should be put in the media.

If this happens again Sydney FC should be banned (or atleast suspended) from playing at the SFS.

How long will it be before one of these soccer halfwits starts another riot that escalates into a stampede and kills someone? Only last month in Indonesia over 100 people were killed in a soccer riot/stampede.

Why get upset about something that has no impact on any of us?

There will be a thousand spare plastic chairs in an equipment room somewhere and Sydney FC will have to pay some labour costs to get them installed.

People like Rothfield live and dine on outrage culture. Really, 30 plastic chairs that’s the talking point this week?

                    Don’t sweat the small stuff.

No, I tried to when it all first kicked off but only lasted a few years.

I love football and really enjoy watching the EPL & Serie A but find no enjoyment in the A-league. It’s neither a breeding ground for young Australian talent or an enjoyable brand of football so it’s hard to get invested into it despite how much I love the game.

It’s just why get worked up over some plastic chairs? It’s really not that deep. I would be saying the same thing if it was about the Roosters, it’s just a reflection of outrage culture. It’s petty it’s small, it’s all a detraction from issues that actually matter. Don’t put any time or energy into it, Rothfield is a leech.

How were the seats broken? What violence was there? I can’t see the article, are you able to share the details BB.

weren’t there broken seats after our first match v Souths too? Might be a poor quality build issue.
