I guarantee if you asked the Roosters hirachy if they are happy with the administration they would say yes.
The turn off for Rugby League isn’t the administration or the refs/bunker it’s the media who bung on 7 days a week all the negatives of the game & people like you feed into it. The games fantastic, it’s fast action packed combat footy that will never be perfect but it’s still simply the best.
Good post Mickie. I don't watch any panel shows or listen to the radio etc so have no idea much about what gets said in the media . I stopped watching other games years ago because I only care about the Roosters and like to spend the rest of my weekends doing something else. We have to take the good, the bad, the ugly and the mediocre along with the premiership wins also. Much like life really..Nothing or no one would stop me from watching the Roosters.

Most of the softest fans we have are the ones who claim to have supported our club throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s before Brad Fittler and Phil Gould yet they wilt at the first sign of not winning a premiership. Our club has won three premierships three world club challenges and four minor premierships since the last time the Wests Tigers have made the finals. I have been a fan since the mid 1990’s and in that time our club has had only five genuinely terrible seasons. We are lucky to support such consistency.

Im not enjoying the 50/50s in our game, you can flip a coin sometimes to try and guess what the ref or bunker will decide.
Add to this, the penalties in our game are so much of a leg up.
But Im still a mad Roosters and league fan. Ill be back next season and Ill prob post through the off season too.

NBA is a close second to the NRL in our household. My boys love it as much as I do.

                  It starts next month

The NFL has just started & runs until late January on Foxtel or Kayo.

I'm a avid watcher & it's fairly even most weeks with tight games that can go either way.

60min game that runs for 3hrs. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Well you did for some reason tell him not to come back.

I have supported the Roosters since the mid 70's and unless you have supported the Roosters during the transit lounge era of the 80's and the early 90's you have no business calling another Roosters supporter soft.

Yes they should leave and not come back who cares if they are giving up on rugby league this isn't an airport we don't need to hear about departures. You might be an outlier congratulations

Not sure why some of you are saying people are spoilt or soft fans for wanting and demanding premiership success every year. My family history with the Roosters goes back 100 years to my great-grandfather and so by nature my family has seen a lot of awful years for us. The 1980's transit lounge, the awful early 90's and even a few in more recent memory have been dire. Doesn't mean there is an excuse or a reason for us to not demand more and expect to win a comp every year. We are an elite club with elite people and our motto is that we play for premierships. Anything less is failure. Do not compare us to the Tigers. They have made the finals 3 times in 20+ years and can't decide who should run the club and what identity they should have. We have the strongest identity in the game and we should be winning comps or going close every year. Easts are not like any of the other clubs in the NRL. We have an aura that few have. You love us or you hate us and there is a reason for that. We aren't spoilt, we want more, we need more. That should be the attitude. We have the best player in the game, the best centre/x-factor player in the game, some of the best forwards in the game, the best young talent in the game and one of the best coaches in the game. It pains me to see Penriff and Souffs above us and deservedly above us playing in a prelim next week. We do not accept mediocrity and we do not take 6th place and a first week exit as "acceptable" because we remember watching a few tough seasons a decade ago... Farrrk off. We have the set the club up to not have premiership windows, but to be in premiership contention every single season.
Stop being negative, Easts to Win as always and we need to blow the rest of the comp out of the water in 2023.

You're correct. I intend to do like a friend of mine does for MLB.tv, one team only. When his team is the San Francisco Giants, who have gone from penthouse to outhouse in quick time, it's a losing proposition.
