Anasta and hes passes he just chucks out the back, hoping to hit someone, anyone. I think Anasta just works on the lip he will give the refs, that is what he is best at.

I was thinking the same... Melbourne have 'footballers' in these postions.. Ours have very little in the way of footballing ability. Mini was a brilliant athlete and admittedly still is fantastic under the high ball but is an adlib type player.. Pearce is obviously someone who has got where he has through coaching and hard work but does not have the ability to read the play, same goes for Friend. I am not sure what to make of Anasta but given he struggles to pass the ball right to left and no longer has a running game I think he has little value or abilities at all.

I really think Anasta has been working on his one liners for the officials in the off season. His ball playing seems to be just chuck it in the general direction of our player sand hope for the best. Have you seen a player so focused on a kick off in your life?

Dude I did not even watch the game, I knew what to expect from the refs, was out buying a car instead. Just kept getting texts from my brother about the refereeing in the first half. Apparently, and some on this forum would agree by the looks of it, there was some turbo charged biased refereeing going on in the first half. Well fancy that! And T Archer was involved. Fancy that again! And like 2010 GF, the final score makes it look like refereeing could not possibly have had any influence on course of game.

Mate these guys, and Archer is the best of them, are pro's.

Firstly you should have watched the game then you would have seen that the Roosters are nowhere near the top sides, they have NO structure or thrust from their spine. It wouldn't matter if they had 90% of the ball their 7 & 9 are not upto the mark.
Mate the Roosters & Smith are not good enough.

To have a chance though, you need a level playing field. Sounds like this didn't happen. And I've watched enough examples to not feel like I missed out on something today.
