We needed some luck to get off to a good start. Melbourne are a very good team and theyre the ones that got 2 amazing calls by the video ref in their favour. The 2nd half was a blow out which can happen with Melborne. Our back was broken in the first half n despite not scoring I thought we looked improved from the first 3 weeks. Pendulum etc, u delight in looking justified when harping on every negative possible. Thats what pisses people off. Trolls.

Firstly you should have watched the game then you would have seen that the Roosters are nowhere near the top sides, they have NO structure or thrust from their spine. It wouldn't matter if they had 90% of the ball their 7 & 9 are not upto the mark.
Mate the Roosters & Smith are not good enough.

Yes Broncos copped some dud call in the 1st 20 minutes However after this they were given 6 penalties staright

It wasnt going to matter what we did today. We were never going to be allowed to win.

Great attitude and tactics in the first half should have seen us probably lead at halftime. Two obstruction trys from them and one from a dud penalty, plus a fair try to us knocked back.

If the correct and fair decisions were made we wouldnt have dropped the focus in the 2nd half. The end scoreline is no indication other than News Limited and the wheel of corruption is as solid as ever. It is sickening.

Rugby League is a great game but its not a level playing field.

Stick with your team regardless - it's is all we can do at the moment.

I guess this is the sore losers thread. We lost by 40......yes 40....that means 40 pts. Truth is storm should have won by more as they bombed a few tries towards the end....and it could have been to zero as Cordner lost that ball in our only try.

I don't see anyone saying there was any reason we lost other then them being the better team. Dosen't make those 2 calls in the first half right though, they were shocking.. Effectively made our job 2 times harder which was already hard enough to begin with. The 2nd half Storm were too classy, had all the momentum and blew us away.

Well that isn't the general sentiment of the fans. I didn't re-read the original post after the first time a few hours ago, my bad.

Still terrible decisions though, and the fact that it gave them the leg up to go and completely smash us later glosses over what happened in the first half.
