Tupou For State of Origin?

I think it’s an excellent move by Freddy including Suuali in the squad because it gives the boy a vision of his career in RL and he now knows he can go a long way, become a rep player and have a highly successful career in RL. As of todays selection his price would have doubled.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

I was honestly shocked by Suuali’s selection but many commentators were saying that it was his brilliant attack and defence and passing that got us on fire and I fully agree. As soon as he came off our defence and attack struggled. He is a freak indeed. He was my man of the match for all the little things he did behind the scene which had a major effect on our win.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

This dude would be the biggest loss to league if he defected. More than RTS.

It's smart from Freddy and the league in general, Suaalii is a rugby junior who still isn't 100% sold on league being his career....this is a long term play to lock him into league. Suaalii will basically play the role of Coates and Cobbo during training sessions, good luck To'o.
Tupou is great to see being rewarded for his great play, really excited to see him on the wing again for the blues. Was annoying to see ppl complain about Tupou's selection online and bringing up that one error he had in 2020, one error should never rule out a player for selection especially a great player like Tupou.

Is it unprecedented? Any other player in history being selected so young with so few NRL games played?

Nice to see Tupou rewarded, He should have 10+ origin caps by now, as he has been the best winger in the comp (most of the time) for nearly a decade, with only Brett Morris to rival him. Shouldn't have been dropped in 2020 either.
Great reward for Suaalii too, who really is something special.
With all the injuries though, I might have QLD slight favourites. See how we go.
