Tupou is great to see being rewarded for his great play, really excited to see him on the wing again for the blues. Was annoying to see ppl complain about Tupou's selection online and bringing up that one error he had in 2020, one error should never rule out a player for selection especially a great player like Tupou.
Imagine if ‘one error’ kept Hodges out of QLDs side.

It proves that we have one of the best best outside back combos in the game. Both wingers selected for origin (albeit JS won’t play), Teddy selected at captain and fullback.

Then you add the best centre in the game Manu, one of the best halves in Keary and the best young half back Walker in terms of growth and development.

Just wait to it all clicks and they get their combos going. Will be something we’ll look back on and say “how good”

I think Suaali will force the Freddy's hand during training camp by having no choice but to possibly pick him over To'o just simply because he ca and will out jump him on the high balls. QLD will no doubt have that in their favour for the series.

As sure as he’ll outjump To’o, I hope he doesn’t play. After only 12 games in NRL and at 18 I’d hate to see him have a Justin Hodges style debut and ruin his confidence. SOO is a completely different beast and he has plenty of time to experience it after he matures into the player we all expect him to become.

              Nah only the 18 picked.

Poor old Toops is playing outside Wighton so he won't get the ball and Holmes will burn Jack with speed.

again..on paper.. we should beat them by 40 but Freddyd struggles withe a slightly conservative approach..he need to lay on the attack like he did once with Teddy and Turbo in a game ..he had a plan he had moves..ask Robbo for a bit of help .
We have strike every where ..they will rely on defending for dear life as they always do and the rest if they get points will be on individual brilliance .

Completely agree. Just reward for sustained excellence and great character. Well done Giraffe

Geez there's a bit of backlash out there about JAC being dropped for toops. Am I missing something or just salty bulldogs fans?

Fair winger that addo carr but topou has more to his game imo.

If you reckon Jack will be burnt for speed by Holmes, I reckon NSW could have a real problem on that left side.
I reckon Cobbo could burn Toops for speed as well.
And I reckon Toops knows that.
Lets face it , on what I have seen, Toops , at 31 , can't possibly foot it with Cobbo in open space.
So it will take all of Toops guile and experience not to give his opponent a chance to get around him
On the flipside, I think if Toops has the ball in hand, and is running at the tryline, Qld is going to have massive headaches. .

The thing is Cobbo has to get on the outside to start with, my concern is Wighton isn't used to defending at centre

at 15k a match it makes up for some of what toops could have got if he'd gone elsewhere

There's Souffs fans screaming 'Rooster corruption!' 'Freddy Conspiracy!', like it would be doing the Roosters a favour being without their best wingers for SOO.
