Are the GRAHAM-TAUFA brothers still eligible for Jersey Flegg ?

For some reason it does come across as our Reggies more than a Norths team - perhaps as I have been more interested in the younger ones coming through, watching them in the trials and a few of them getting good experience with us last year.

Where is Ronald Volkman playing ? (edit - I see he playing Flegg , good on him )
He would be first picked in this grade ,way better than the two halves. must be playing in another grade somewhere ?

Surely they're one of the top NSW Cup teams this season? Haven't seen the rest (and probably wouldn't recognise most of the players) but what... Keighran, Lam, Marschke, Naiqama, Suluka-Fifita, Atoni, Whyte and Tapuha would have a fair few NRL games between them? Also if the hype's to be believed, Karawalevu is an NRL grade athlete who just needs to spend some time learning the game.

If things are open (with floods and COVID), I'd love to go watch some games at North Sydney oval while sipping a beer or two. A mate's moving out of Cammeray (needs help moving stuff from his house to the southern highlands + restoring some of his retro audio gear / production CRTs in the process). I'm on long service / mental health leave (getting some good recovery into me) so am sure I can convince my wife to give me a few days in Sydney. Be farking good picking a weekend where I can see my mate, hit the cans, watch Norths play and and then go to mum's place (terrace in Centennial Park) to watch Easts. Beers, footy, friends, family and electronics. Followed by weeks and weeks of running / mountain biking in Canberra. Can picture it already!

Norths won’t be full strength for too long cause it’s inevitable that first grade will cop an injury or two.

Plus NRL squads are 24 players now - still trimmed to 19 players 24 hours before kickoff but I assume some if not all of the 5 players cut will have to hang around on game day in case of any COVID withdrawals.

Fortunate this week as the Bears play on Sunday so the 5 cut could still play for the Bears. May not be possible every week though depending when and where the NRL Chooks play.

NSW Cup is usually on Saturdays - 10 Sydney Teams and Newcastle and Canberra - Mounties have a side in that comp and were the Bulldogs Reggies Team for the past 2 years but the Dogs have their own team this year.

I noticed Brad Abbey is playing for them although he is still listed on the NRL Chooks extended squad list ?

                  Thats the main thing.
Dont forget the Dannemann's throw a bit of the Bob Hope in with it, happy days.
Keep me tuned about when your gonna hit the cans watching Norths at North Sydney Oval.

It looks a half decent NSW,Cup team for sure.

All the best with your recovery Ism.

Bear Park is a real footy experience mate, I love it there. Like the sound of that weekend!

Can't find anything to say it is....unfortunately.

This is certainly one downside of the NRLW taking the timeslots that potentially were given to the
NSW Cup by 9 and Fox previously.

I agree with you they should be third tier for TV coverage...certainly for now.

Yes really annoying that Fox League is showing a girl game rather than reserve grade. Must frustrate the players too. I reckon they like being televised for the exposure and as a chance to show their talents.

For those wondering, Flegg just finished at Cessnock, the roosters boys won 30-10 after leading 12-10 at half time. Only watched the second half. Volkman played very well.

Bears just about to kick off.

Ratings on the female game are higher than reserve grade, Fox are a business they shouldn't be worried about the feelings of players.
