I'd prefer Perrett to Vatuvei. At least with Perrett its not 50-50 if he catches the ball. Personally, I'd prefer two wingers who can get us 10 metres every time they take a hit up, than a winger who scores once every two games. Getting out of your own 50 is so much more important in maintaining pressure and winning games than having a winger who doesn't score often. We've got 12 other guys who can do that.

Like I said take away the dummy half runs what do you have left??
That's bullshit. A fullback will always have more try assists than a winger. Go find me a winger who puts players through holes. Oh and Sammy had more tackle-busts than Boyd in 2010 so there you go.

Sam Perrett is an invalvuable member of our squad. I can't believe anyone wouldn't want a player of that calibre in their top 17. Especially when you look at the options we currently have - he is miles ahead of any of them.

Sam is a proven performer. He will never be a superstar, but that's not what we need. What we need is exactly what Sam provides, consistency, commitment and effort. Let others do the fancy stuff, Sam's happy to do the hard yakka for a winger.

I'm hoping Sam is a one club player, and that he is with us for many years to come. The guy is an asset, on and off the field. And with our young squad, we need blokes with his values and stability to lead the way forward.

                You may be right Raymond.

Very underrated Elsegood, looked like Jane and played like Tarzan.

I can't believe how many people are bagging Perrett! As it has been said, he is no superstar but he is consistent and I feel an integral part of our football team!! However, the other wing position definitely needs to be sorted asap...
