Still have Adam Keighran as a depth player.....also some sort of handy kicker.....

I would probably go with Smith and Tupou on the left, Manu and Momo on the right, with Suaalii and Naiqama as depth. Just based on positional preference alone...
Doesn't mean a lot. He played left centre for us v Souths in 2018 and handled it fine. He's also going to have a full pre-season to adapt.

I think the biggest difference is that he's now a premiership-winning centre rather than 3rd or 4th string winger. IMO it's amazing we got him back for (presumably) not that much!

I cant see Joseph sualli playing early game due to his Lisfranc injury. Takes ages to recover from and is easily reinjured

I really feel for the kid but honestly he's had such shit luck ... I really hope he can get some runs on the board and play well but if there's more issues then I'm afraid it would probably be wise for him to hang up the boots !
I really liked his game when he was on the paddock, and he didn't have enough time to really build momentum.

He has the potential to be a superstar if he can stay match fit and given how much we've invested in him we have to give him a go.

                  I'll take a shot.

                  1. James Tedesco
                  2. Daniel Tupou
                  3. Paul Momirovski
                  4. Joseph Manu
                  5. Joseph Suaalii
                  6. Luke Keary
                  7. Drew Hutchison
                  8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
                  9. Connor Watson
                  10. Sio Siua Taukeiaho
                  11. Angus Crichton
                  12. Sitili Tupouniua
                  13. Victor Radley

                  14. Sam Walker
                  15. Lindsay Collins
                  16. Nat Butcher
                  17. Egan Butcher

Depending on how the players are training, we could easily see Marschke, Lussick, Bill Smith, baker, so in, in the side.

We'd be crazy not to slot Watson into 9, at least for the start of the game.

I'd go Hutch over Walker - for no other reason than Walker is still young and developing. Walker will get as much game time as he can handle throughout the year, which may not be a full season just yet (I'm happy to be proven wrong).

We look a little light on in the middle. Maybe our prop rotation will see Collins and Butcher come on after 20/30 minutes. These guys will be a huge part of our success this season.

Good point - Robbo likes to keep his powder dry.

(Some other teams like to keep powder up their noses)

If everyone is fit the definite's will be

                      Teddy
                      Tupou

                      Manu

                      Keary one of the halves
                      Radley
                      Sitilli
                      Crighton
                      SST
                      Verrills
                      JWH

                      Watson
                      N Butcher
                      Collins

That leaves 4 spots up for grabs.
Who knows which way Robbo is going to go but I would like to have Teddy, Toups & Manu as the back 3, I would have Billy Smith & Momorovski in the centres & I would go with Keary & Walker in the halves, Robbo may start with Keary at 7 & Hutch at 6? I would like to see Keary at 7 & Walker at 6
Who gets the final bench spot E Butcher, Keighran, Atoni, Tuku, Naiquama? I would go with E Butcher.
I dont know if Collins, Suaalii, Smith & Manu will be 100% fit for rd 1.

Manu should have well and truly recovered. Collins due back during trials? Others?

With Smith undergoing the same injury and surgery, we could see K.Naiqama on the right wing early in the season.

                          1.Teddy
                          2.Toops
                          3.Momo
                          4.Manu
                          5.Naiqama

I'd imagine Walker will start the season in favour of Hutcho as he needs to get the footy miles under his belt and he and Keary haven't played much together. Hutch will give either half a break during the season.
