We know SST can kick goals, as can Mom, but I’m saying Walker. I know he was hit or miss last season, but with some added weight behind him, he’ll start being able to slot those goals from the sideline. Keary and with some troops back, relieves tons of pressure off his overall game and they’ll have him ready to kick goals. Just my two cents, but have a feeling Trent will persist with him as GK, as SST might not even be starting (JWH/Collins).

I think all positions are firm except for R wing, Suaalii, Billy Smith & Naiqama will fight it out.
I know you havnt said it but some have but I cannot see Momirovski playing on the wing, he played centre in the winning GF team so I think he will be given first crack at No 3 centre. Ive wanted Billy Smith to come through the grades & develop into a top line centre & would still love to see that but I think he is behind Momirovsi. Suaalii is a what? FB, winger or centre, I dont know what Trent will do with him come Rd 1, I got a feeling he will give Naiqama first shot at the vacant wing spot.
With Verrills suspended I think Robbo will go with the strongest possible team which means Watson to 9 & Hutch or Keighran at 14.

Sounds about right. My changes would be...
- Watson's starting at #9 ahead of Marschke and I'd put Lussick ahead as #14 (noting he's less versatile)

- No practical difference but Keary at #7. IMO Walker never 'took' the #7 jersey, Keary was simply injured. IMO Keary will take it as he's part of the leadership group (again, not that it really makes a difference).

- Yeah... be nice if Smith could get an early release! I still haven't written it off, but it feels like the benefits would be mutual. Drizz could focus on their wonder kid while freeing up dosh... we'd get a #9.

- Great planning from our management that we can afford that squad IMO! Our forwards will be truckin' good this year ay. JWH, Collins, SST, Crichton, Sitili, Rads, Egan, Nat, Baker...etc. One of the best packs in the comp IMO. Especially if Nat comes back 5-10kg heavier after an off-season in the gym with his brother.
