I'm like 99% sure that Napsky would be Dylan Napa, they're talking about the 2018 Grand Final which he was a part of.

It’s how this old guy talks as well!

Again I like this stuff, particularly in a world full of crappy, agenda-driven reporting. But... I feel it's important to remember that these guys aren't within the 4 walls of the NRL, they're not sponsoring the sport and their only drawcard is the fact that they (randomly) seem to get access to celebrities. They're not owed anything...

Who are you talking about? The host of the podcast? I’m pretty certain that they knew each other well before they did this. Sounds like they share mutual mates and have hung out before. I do also know the bondi motorino group includes the likes of JWH and Angus also from memory.

All these podcast guys speak the same.. bro/grouse/ etc/etc.... it drives me mad.....I'm old haaaaaa!!! When I was in my early 20s through to 30s my mates and I had our own speak. We were all musicians and in bands etc...so was a boys club also, much like a footy team... Outsiders wouldn't have a clue what we were saying.
But one thing, they all talk about growth and personal development and seem to be having a go at things... can't complain about that!
That's what I got out of the smith interview also (His growth mindset outside of just footy)
Loved how Victor said he needs to be selfish more and tell his friends NO when it comes to good times.

I love Radley and it was a good listen, podcasts have become very popular because by their nature they are more like blokes having a yarn at the pub over a few drinks rather than formal media interviews. Who cares about the swearing , I'd rather listen to that than " we have to complete our sets " and the dozen other cliches that are pulled out all the time.

How refreshing was it hear rads go into depth about his suspensions this season and how he feel he let the boys and Robbo down.. In particular how he apologised to JWH rather then the usual “ yeah mate plenty of work for me to do this off season looking forward to next season “ generic stuff.

That's one of the things that has me excited. Seems like he realises that he might need to work on a way to keep up his aggression while also toeing the line and making sure he doesn't get into trouble. We rely on him too much to have him suspended as much as he was last year, while admittedly it was during the high tackle crackdown, if he does get pinged he'll have a good amount of carry over points I'd imagine.

It’s been mentioned before on here and I’ll mention again.. Cheese and The Inflictor in the same line is terrifying for the opposition. We need him to tone it down a little I agree but contact wise he does it no better and has some decent techy on him too when he gets it right. One of the better shots of this season for me was when he ran out and absolutely leveled poor old Momo after he got turned back on the inside. It was a great read and awesome technique just snapped him in half. Momo will not doubt be happy he’s on the same team now

Oh yeah, and his ability to dislodge balls when he gets his hit right is unmatched. I love Rads shots and if he opted to not change his style I wouldn't be able to hold it against him, but it looks like he feels guilty about having to sit and watch the boys struggle under the injury toll and then having to cover his suspension on top of that. Hopefully he can find a good middle ground between keeping the hits and aggression up and staying out of trouble.

Sounds like there is some bad blood with that milking cat Arrow too.

Who is the interviewer? I thought he said he played for us.

How good was that. And what a player Victor is. If he can be injury free, in 2 seasons he'll be regarded as the best player in the comp.

As an aside how good is it to hear players speaking honestly and away from the boring media outlets.

Victor has been so unlucky with injuries & suspension not to play Origin & for Australia.

This guy sounded all forced to me. IMO he was doing it all to sound like 'one of them' kinda thing. I felt like saying 'STOP... just be yourself! Calling everybody a bro and every action "full hec-teeeek" doesn't make you sound all chilled and stuff'.
